We booked this hotel purely because of its convenient location to the harbour. We planned to stay only for one night and didn't really mind too much about facilities etc. What attracted us was value for money. However, we got far, far more than we expected. The staff are wonderful -professional, efficient and so friendly. Our room had a fabulous sea view (an unexpected pleasure) and was huge and spotless. Very simple in design but fully equipped, cool and sparkling clean. The two beds in our were large and comfortable. The aircon was efficient. We all slept wonderfully. At breakfast there was something for everyone, from oldest to youngest. In the evening the market was fun and picturesque. It doesn't really get much better. Thank you for a great family stay!
We have booked three rooms. Hotel is under renovation but the rooms alloted to us were quite good. View from our room was nice. Breakfast for vegetarian was very good . Staff was co-operative. Hotel was able to manage our citeseeing at reasonable rate. I can recommend this hotel for tourists in Langkavi.
This , i think a 3 star hotel is located in Kuah town which is the business center of langkawi. It is lively during day time but do note there it is a distance from the pantai beach. There is a night market right nearby( I think open on certain nights only ) ,banks , eatery shops, a convinience store. Hotel Gym and some of the floors are under renovation but the rooms are big but may not look very modern. However do note the hotel is in the midst of renovating. I consider a reasonable stay as it is comparatively inexpensive
Stayed for 3 days with my family of 2 kids. Rooms are comfortable. If you are vegetarian, in breakfast your option will be fruits, cornflakes, milk, juice, and bread. Though they had Indian yellow dal and roti also, (Same choice in all 3 days), taste is not as expected. On the check out day morning, hotel refused to give water bottles. If you are vegetarians, your choice for food is limited, though in 5 kilometres radius you have veg/non-veg Indian restaurants near Langkawi Parade Mall or Langkawi Fair Mall. All tourist spots except eagle square is at a distance of atleast 20+ kilometres distance. There is a grocery shop just opposite hotel where you can buy bread, biscuits and ice creams to survive. There is no pure vegetarian restaurants in Langkawi. Cenang beach area has quite number of Indian restaurants, could be a better option to stay. We liked food in Spice & Rice. We used Uber and Grab for local commute and did direct booking for Mangrove tour (Klim), Island hopping (Cenang) at their respective starting points.
Stayed at Bayview hotel for my vacation at Langkawi last weekend. Decided to book a room with sea view. Did not regret paying a bit more. Great scenery, and I could see the eagle square from my room. Spacious room size n shower area. Saw some negative reviews on the breakfast but it actually turn out fine for me. Love the nasi lemak n vegetarian vermicelli. Though the hotel is currently undergoing upgrading renovation, I was not disturbed by any of the inconveniences. As for the location, the hotel is situated at the town of Kuah, where there are several duty free shops n eateries nearby. Nevertheless, it may get a bit quiet at night. Perhaps it's due to Ramadan period. 1 improvement the hotel may wish to take note is the front desk service. Guests would feel more welcoming if the front desk receptionists can b more friendly. Nonetheless, this may b due to fasting period. Other than that, I would recommend Bayview Hotel if you are thinking of staying at Langkawi.
Amazing view from the hotel room, nice swimming pool with a Jacuzzi . We had a great experiences . the staff also friendly . tapi rasanya perlu improve sikit pasal kebersihan sebab ada tempat yang bersampah . overall its okay and its niceeee .
The service in Bayview Kuah Langkawi is top end, quick, polite and effective Hotel is well located and well equipped if a little tired but is in the course of a refurb Good value, stay here🌈 good base for getting around and near ferry terminals
Overall the stay was comfortable, people were polite , food was alright. However not much to do in the hotel, pool closes by 7 & is far from beaches. Its not for tourists who like to be closer to beach or sea.
I loved my stay at the Bayview Hotel .. Was there for 3 nights ... Nice location .. courteous and friendly staff ... though my only complaint was they give just 2 measly bottles of water per room and don't replenish without a charge.. I mean when a person spends a decent amount and has 2 rooms and has meals there .. it wouldn't cost much to give a larger bottle of water or replenish when it gets over ....Special appreciation for Nad the front office executive she's very helpful and sweet ...another thing If ur a smoker then you would be commuting up and down to have a smoke .... Location: For this hotel, location is the only point without any negative aspect. Bayview is located right in the heart of Kuah Town and its proximity to a wonderful night market and variety of places to eat is a BIG plus. It is close to a wide range of duty free shops and that was very convenient. Also, a money changer that offers the best exchange rates in Langkawi is just across the street. There's a taxi stand near the hotel and all major touristy places are less than 30 mins from the hotel. Rooms: The room was huge with a big bath, but it was quite dated. The rooms seriously need an upgrade. The bed was too soft for my comfort. The view from the sea-view room was good on a clear day. The in-room TV had very few channels but that was okay since we had no time to watch TV. Food: The breakfast spread was really bad and boring. They had very little options in continental and every day the food options were more or less the same. Service: The staff at the reception was nice and friendly. Our check-in was quick and smooth, and so was the check-out. The housekeeping staff was prompt in its services. The room was nicely cleaned on the next day. The service at the restaurant during breakfast was not up to the mark. I would recommend this hotel only for its location. So, if you're not going to spend much time at the hotel, then it's a good option.
