I should have rated this place as 3.5 as max. It's comparatively expensive and and charge you for everything extra. However, today when we were checking out early in the morning, they cooperated and arrange breakfast club sandwich for us which incremented my impression. Good place and location with good room service.
A little bit worried to stay here for the first time a few years back (2015 to be exact) as of the bad comments and low ratings of this hotel. But we're shocked to see for ourselves that the hotel is actually not that bad and it was actually REALLY okay! The only thing that was a bit off is that there's usually some stains on the carpet of the room and some of the corridor lights don't work and also, there only one small lift so sometimes we had to use the stairs during the peak season. As for the room, we get to choose between the mountain view room or the sea view room. We usually book a sea view room as it's really calming to see the ocean as we slide open the curtain every morning. The breakfast food and the food at their cafe was really good too! Some changes have been made on the menu as for these few years where they eliminate some of the food and replace it with something else. Honestly, we do like the old menu more. Now, this is our regular place to spend our nights whenever we're in Langkawi.
Staffs very friendly and the room was in good condition. There's variety of breakfast for Malaysians,but limited to foreigners. Maybe the chef can make English breakfast (baked beans and scrambled eggs) plus add more types of fruits.
I booked a superior room. The room was clean, huge for just two of us. PLENTY of spaces, including a couple of leather chairs and table. The bed was clean too. Room service seemed quick during non-peak hours when we requested fresh towels. Check in was a hassle because their system was really slow - so you need lots of patience and waiting time. Checking out was extremely easy and fast. Facilities like the bathroom, kettle, minibar, wardrobe were okay and standard. The down sides : Wifi worked the first day and then stopped for the rest of the stay! The AC was the old kind, so it was rather difficult to control - either too hot or too cold. I didn't have much to complain, enjoyed my stay. Location wise it's easy to get to places in Kuah. Also easy to hail Uber/Grab taxi to everywhere else in the island.
We had a nice stay here. The facility is old but is nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We thought it was a good value. The menu for breakfast especially could be changed up a little.
4pm room was yet ready for check in meal voucher is not ready for us as well 8.30am breakfast time but all the dish did not refill only left w empty plate when ask the staff here they saying there are busy later on will be refill but whole restaurant is full of customer
Please do not book this resort.poor customer service,facilities are poor, rooms look dirty and not up too standard.by far the worst resort in langkawi.frontdesk people were rude and even whenever u call for room service or maintenance nobody pick up and after more than fifteen minutes then someone pick up and by then the service about an hour later.so poor standard.i would not recommended anybody to stay here.
Well this hotel really doesn’t maintain what they have, disregarding the use of their special facilities and amnesties such as direct access to the beach at the back. The room had a terrible scent that was coming from the carpet floor. I will just sum this up. 1) carpet stinks 2) stained sheets and pillowcases, and towels. 3) use of fluorescent tubes. ( WHO THE HELL still uses fluorescent tubes ESPECIALLY a hotel??) Then came the breakfast, jesus. Just by the sight of it, it’ll scare you. Sausages had a powdery taste, (probably RM10 for a hundred sausages kind of thing, butter had no taste, strawberry jam was pure sugar and red colouring(maybe RM5 for a tub). ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The only thing that made it out alive was the omelette. Oh and CORDIAL orange juice. This hotel is better off dropping the price of the room by RM10 and exclude the breakfast. Feeding this level of food is really an embarrassment.
I don’t mind if the facilities are old yet clean but staff need to be more friendly. Even smile should be ok. Phone ethic and work fast should be in your top priority. It was too slow in service and I called few times and reception not answering.
Nice Hotel in Kuah with good clean room and service. Has 2 swimming pools and family friendly. Centrally located within close proximity to Jetty, Shopping Mall, Eagles Square, Night market. The breakfast offered is nothing much to write home about. The spread is not exciting. Recommend book Room only and venture out for breakfast, as tea service is available in the rooms. Plenty of Coffee shops, Pastry shops, Indian Curry House within walking distance from the Hotel.
