Great location with its own private beach, 2 pools & a separate kids pool . Also nice local restaurants/bars right across the road. We had a deluxe room overlooking the pool. Rooms were quiet old but clean & comfy . Bathrooms had been renovated, so no complaints there.

We spent 10 days in the resort. Staff is very friendly, rooms are cleaned very well. Breakfast is oriented more towards European options but there are also limited options for Malay and Chinese cuisine. One point where breakfast can be improved is timely replacement of fruits. Quite often fruit plates were empty and we had to wait for quite some time or ask staff to replace them but overall breakfast experience was enjoyable. Resort has two pools: the first pool is more suitable for families as it can be packed with kids. The second pool - infinity pool - is accessible for daily fee of RM25 pp. Infinity pool allows families with children inside so if you are looking for relaxation and some peace beach might be a better place to go. Beach is clean but if you walk a 5-10 meters from the volleyball place when tide is low you can see waste water running into the sea from the construction side next to the resort. As the result water in this area is darker than the rest of the beach. Given the currents and wind some of it can make it to the area where people swim. We did not try lunches or dinners in the resort as it is very close to the local restaurants and we were keen to explore local cuisine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the thought of water running from the construction site made us abandon swimming in the sea and stick to the swimming pool.

This is an excellent beach resort with a long and clean beach in Langkawi.Rooms are good and spacious but need some renovation s.staff is helping.Food is good.location is very good.market and restaurants are nearby.few Indian restaurants are at a walking distance.

Had a great experience overall and would recommend it. Certain staff were brilliant and really made out trip special. Thank you to Zul, Sanjit, Rashidi, the head chef and the GM in particular. Having said that, some staff were darn right rude (at the Spa and the beach bar) and need to learn to smile at the very minimum. Pros - Brilliant location on the beach - Infinity pool is an oasis to relax in - Certain staff - Great gym - Beautiful garden surrounds Cons - Certain clientele who were rude and arrogant and did not respect hotel rules or other guests - Breakfast had too much variety, should focus on quality and service more - Hotel needs a bit of a refurbishment, having said that, they were clean and pleasant. - The club lounge stunk of smoke - we walked straight out. I would suggest having a nice lobby with material covered chairs (not the plastic/vinyl) where you can be greeted with a drink or just sit and relax whilst waiting for a taxi etc. Also, have non smoking corridors. We are non smokers and said so in our initial request, yet our neighbours were smokers so we had to put up with their smoke whilst sitting out on the balcony. This is an easy fix.

A good clean reasonable resort. Christmas isn't a very festive occassion so no need to book resort dinners as other places are open everywhere. Staff seemed nice but english was a bit broken and misunderstood easily.

From the service team for the luggage, to the reception , pool, beach teams - all are freindly and helpful Beach coffee shop food is so yummy View from the suite is soooo good and having a balacony is a good option too Dauly breakfast has a good variety of food for us and for kids too

My husband and I stayed here over the festive season. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The effort that was made for New Year’s Eve was particularly memorable. The staff here do a fantastic job and there attention to detail did not go unmissed. Particularly the head chef who takes so much pride in what he does. The location is one of the best spots on the Island. The beach is beautiful and the sunset here is unrivalled. There is also a great selection of restaurants and bars around. We particularly liked the Sun Cafe and Sunba. As for the hotel itself. The rooms were well maintained and kept very clean. Slightly outdated decor but definitely not ugly. It’s a fairly large resort so it would be a slow and expensive process to completely refurb, however the pools are lovely and the grounds are very well maintained. The actual feel and vibe of the place is fantastic, very relaxed, friendly and fun. Overall we had a great stay and we would definitely recommend it! Keep up the good work, hopefully we will see you again soon!

The hotel is not luxurious and you should believe what you read on trip advisor. The website does a great job of suggesting it is. We booked a deluxe premium room which claims to be sea facing. There was not a sea view at all. When I asked about this, the staff in the hotel don't claim there is either so I'm not sure why it says there is on the website. Pros: - great location- nice beach and lots of decent restaurants around (try colonial India!) - lunch at 'La Villa Pool Bar & Restaurant' was good - separate pool with nice sunbeds overlooking the sea was more prestigious - rooms were clean and spacious - 20 minutes from the airport - free parking available Cons: - tired, dated and sad decor throughout - average breakfast- mass catering with variety but not quality - noisy corridors - people being loud very early in the morning and late at night - charged RM25 per person for the new pool overlooking the sea, this should simply be adults only Overall we had a great holiday with great company. BUT we paid over RM700 per night and the price is simply not justified. The whole hotel needs a refurbishment and the breakfast needs to be substantially improved. If you can afford to pay a bit more, then stay at one of the top hotels. We went for Christmas dinner at The Danna and it was an amazing place. It really is worth it!

I would not rate this a 5 star hotel as I have been to better places. But within Langkawi, this hotel is definitely among the best. It has a private beach, wonderful swimming pools and a very serene atmosphere. The rooms are tidy but not very modernized. With little retouches, they can be made very attractive. The hotel lobby is not very good but that's mainly cause it has an old age feeling. I could notice some renovation work on. The breakfast has a good variety and a decent taste. Regarding Bike Rentals: A word of caution: Do not rent it from T-shoppe right outside the hotel. Walk a distance (hardly 200 meters) and you can get better deals. T-shoppe is the worst shop for any tourist as they have arrogant staff who abuse tourist even dragging their nationality. They can single-handedly spoil the tourist atmosphere. Overall a pleasant stay.

Relax and unwind at this beautiful resort, family friendly. My daughter and friends have a blast .....we will be back for the beach fun and big pool. Rooms are large environment is comfortable , breakfast with vast variety
