We stayed at the Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa for 4 nights during late August-early September. For starters, it is a fantastic family-friendly resort and from the moment you drive through the entrance you can immediately tell why it is considered a 5-star hotel. The ambience, the look and the atmosphere are all top-notch. The rooms and grounds are spotless. We stayed in a king bed room and it was huge and very well designed. Plenty of space of our belongings and more! The pool area is perfect for both kids and adults and we loved they had a mini kid's waterpark in the kids pool! The dining options are excellent and caters for every need. The staff deliver exceptional customer service, making our stay feel special. Its beachfront location and close proximity to the international airport make it incredibly convenient. Overall we felt like we were on an amazing holiday. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here, probably only 2 negative things we could comment on were the wait time to get into our room...not sure if normally like that but we got in at around 12.30 and check in was 3...was way after when we got in, I know others were waiting long. After that was amazing. Service, amenities, grounds, position. Other thing was the state of the beach...probably need someone doing a clean up each morning, wouldn't take long. Restaurants and Cafe lovely...great food, quality and variety, lovely service ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

An absolutely beautifully set spa resort, right on the beach front and so near all the local amenities. We had 2 rooms connected to eachother with balconies overlooking one out of the two lakes the property has. The rooms are set as wooden chalets with all the facilities you would have in a moden style hotel. The property has beautiful grounds which makes walking around the grounds a joy. Rooms were cleaned regularly with a change of towels and water bottles top-up. We had a choice of American breakfast or asian style breakfast both set in 2 separate restaurants on the property with plenty of different choices from omelettes, breads, pastries, pancakes, waffles, fresh juices, fresh fruits, local dishes and much much more with a large spread of variety. The area the property is set is amazing, with water sports set at the beach jet skiing, parasailing, banana boat and more. There were different restaurants, bars, shopping and lots of different things to do. Me and my partner had afew different treatments at the spa with very professional staff and a beautiful atmosphere. There are 2 pools whoch have the kids pool play area with slides and water features. We had an amazing time at this property and would definitely return and recommend to others.

This resort is absolutely dreamy! We were so impressed with the layout and how beautiful everything is. We had a suite that faced the ocean and was absolutely luxurious. The ocean is so warm it feels like bath water. Highly recommend staying here!

1st day of arrival it rained in the middle of the night. We woke up and saw the table with our items on were all wet because there was a leak in the roof. Contact front desk and the Duty Manager said they will do something about it, but it never rained as heavily again throughout our stay so we wouldn't know if it got fixed (or the DM actually held the rain back). 3rd day of stay, after the gym session and breakfast, headed back for a shower and found there's no water. Same, contacted front desk... and then we got water... albeit started off brown till clear water was received. Took about an hour. There's also no shelter path from the carpark (we rented a car) to the main lobby, so 1st 2 days we got soaked trying to get back to the room when it rained. Other than that... We only had breakfast included so it was pretty normal, both the asian and western options, and each and some of the other... But lack of control meant other guests could walk in on their own, and we have several times where people would sit at our table even after we had left our drinks and food on it to show there's people sitting. And of cos we understand guests cannot be controlled where they'll push their prams and use the same hands to grab the food without using the tongs or spatulas... Shower space is large with bathtub, and the changing area is attached to the shower area which is a nice touch.

Fantastic stay. Staff have excellent customer service skills, we were greeted with a personalised check in, welcome drink, no queuing. All staff, without exception, from the start to the end of our stay, were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely overlooking one of the lakes, comfy bed and Rituals toiletries, with bathtub and wet room, and a generous sized balcony to enjoy the view with a tea or a coffee in the morning. The property is immaculately maintained, beautiful gardens and clean, like-new swimming pools. The food was also faultless- European or Asian options in the two restaurants do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks and (really good, espresso Cimbali machines) coffee available anytime. I would stay with them again. The only downside is the nearby local beach (Cenang) is not clean or pretty, but for a 20’ ride you can go anywhere in the island - Tanjung Rhu is stunning. Recommended!
