We loved our stay at this resort and in Langkawi. The infinity pool had an amazing view, our room was excellent, the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. If we were to return again we may go half board next time as the food was better than expected although there are so many things to see and do so we had a few excursions and places to eat are easy to find. Although November is the end of the wet season, we had many sunny days and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Century hotel is worst hotel i still went ... infact this hotel is ruined place , building is so old , my room door luck is broken , we have lizard on the room ، Towels and sheets were very old and torn and had a big hole , breakfast quality was not good , many beetle run on the resturan floor , so many Mosquitoes was on the food on resturan table and our room was near the main road and all time noise of road was so load on the room , toilet on the beach and pool was out of order and all of the hotel like jungle was dirty and Irregular , Lettuce and Vegetables on the resturan was only wet but nit washed and can see more mud on it , but its not fair to write only negative items ... staff was polite and the internet speed and quality was good and pool is clean ,,, totaly in my idea this hotel is 2 or for maximom 3 stars , 4 star for this hotel is not really fair and i will go never to this hotel again and dont suggest everybody to go there

We had a wonderful experience with the staff here. The place is really beautiful and the view is exceptional. Our room was really spacious with the jungle feeling various animal sounds which is very unique. The pool area is wide and can see the ocean with the infinity pool. The members of the food and beverage were excellent! Want to add a special thanks to Lia! Nad! Safari! Miza! Delicious eggs Miza! We’ll come back again!

Great location on the natural rocky hills nestled in a cool forest area. It takes only just 30 minutes from the Langkawi Airport. Breakfast spreads were very good. Friendly staff and good services. Appreciations to Front Office staff Faiz Shavig, Syamsul Amir for fast checking in & check- out. Biggie service was on time & appreciation to Biggie boy Azuan.The sand beach experience was good. Our family enjoyed the sandy beach & the beautiful sunsets. Point for improvement. This resort was formerly the Sheraton property and since taking over it looks there have been no proper maintenance carried out. This resort needs a major overall renovation in order to attract more regular guests.renovation

Poorly maintained & dated resort. Our TV in room didn't work, no wifi in room & generally facilitates felt really Run down. Much better options for the price. Staff were nice & rooms would be ok for 3-star price.

I checked into this hotel on September 15-17, 2017. The breakfast was horrific, the fruit was not covered and flies were on top of it. The doors are left open allowing flies and other insects to come in. I asked why they don't cover the fruit and there was no adequate response. Early morning on Sept. the 17th the AC unit stopped working and I called the front desk at 3ish in the morning and no one answered. I did not sleep since it was too hot. When I checked out, I explained how I did not sleep and no one answered my call. I explained how unacceptable this was for a hotel. I explained how one day someone is going to have a heart attack and die in their room. Since no one answers at the front desk and can help. There are no phone numbers for the police and ambulance at Langkawi provided in the room. Although the picture and the name of the housekeeper who will be cleaning your room is provided at the end table. I complained to Haslina Hashim, Assistant Front Office Manager who provided me documentation that due to my problem I would be refunded 1 night stay. I returned to USA and called my credit card and nothing was refunded. Now my credit card is disputing the charge. This place is a nightmare! The general manager is a local and has no desire to renovate the place. They use key cards with the Sheraton logo supposedly because they have thousands of them. They refuse to waste them which in my opinion this is identify theft acting as if this place still belongs to the Sheraton but it is Century owned. Their pictures are soo false and not accurate on the website. This place is a combination of Friday the 13th cabins and The Shining Movie, there were hardly any people staying when I was there, it is soo dead. There is a bar in the lobby of the hotel but never opens. Just look for another hotel not worth anyone's time. I have no idea why and how this place is opened.

The place needs renovation and at least some cleaning up.. the beach walk area is nice with good view of the sunset but it's with tons of dead leaves and rubbish. If you would like to take your chances and go there because it's cheap and spacious, just be prepared for broken tubs, yellow water and bed bugs (changed room twice). The staff there are nice and friendly but the supervisor at the front desk is arrogant and mean.

I've just been there a couple of days ago. It was a total disappointment. The resort seriously need a refurbishment done as it seemed half abandoned. The air-con was leaking, the hair dryer wasn't functioning and the room was dusty. Large noticeable spider webs at the ceiling corner, dusty floor, and their fan was seriously covered in thick layers of dust. The belongings we left on the dressing table were all soaked due to the leakage of the air-con and when I requested for a room replacement, the receptionist refused to understand my situation and claims that all rooms of my category was fully booked. (It wasn't a peak season) I was quite upset with the way they handled the situation as they could have checked the room availability / system before declining my request straight away. After insisting that I need to get a new room, they finally agreed to it. (They actually have rooms!) Later at night when we came back to the hotel room (it's the new room) Only then, we noticed that the bed linen and comforter was dirty. I'm guessing that they did not change them after the previous customer checked out as there were removable black marks / dirt on the comforter. We called for the receptionist again and to my surprise, the receptionist said they only have runners to deliver us the bed linen at that hour and we will have to change it on our own. The plates that were stacked under the counter for the buffet breakfast was very dirty as well. And there were totally no lights at all along the way from the resort rooms to the cafeteria / hotel lobby. Honestly, If you would like to consider this resort, please think twice. -Just a very sad experience of mine-

the room was spacious, but most of the thing look old, put up more upgrade it can be a great hotel again. the walkway is very dark during the night with very limited lamppost. they stunning view swimming pool.

We've said already everything in the title of the review, and we want to add, that the staff is very friendly and always helpful. They also arranged us personal WiFi in a room, that had no Wi-Fi. The breakfast has something for every taste, and the Resort beautifully settled with pristine jungle on one side and the ocean on the other, represents a perfect getaway and gateway to a little paradise.
