Home away from home

We enjoyed our week in Lancaster spending time with family and friends while working at a mission project at Unto.The house was extremely clean and had everything you would need while away from home. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed it all. The only disappointing thing was the rain as we could not enjoy the deck as much as we would have liked to.Surprisingly we found it was extremely easy to travel to Unto daily or to any other town or place in and around Lancaster. It was very easy to communicate with John and even though we did not have any questions or issues, he would periodically check in to see if we needed anything. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Lancaster to stay at John’s place. You will not be disappointed. Thanks John for everything!

Beautiful House with lots of Space

My group of fun-loving friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house is BEAUTIFUL with a large open plan which allowed us to congregate in the living room/dining room/kitchen area and enjoy the visit. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms and had a driveway that could accommodate about four cars. Everything was clean and updated. The house was located in an excellent area which was quiet at night and had just a short drive to Lititz and not a very long one (maybe 20 mins) to Bird-In-Hand/Sight-and-sound/Ronks. The host was very considerate and helped us get checked in as well as was available through our trip. he even made the house code specific to us during our trip so we knew that we and our things were safe. I would 100% stay here again!

We had a fantastic experience with this home. The host had coffee, water bottles and snacks for us - we felt welcomed and thought of from the start. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies and a good iron. The beds were comfy, the linens were high quality, and the house was clean and well decorated. After much searching in the area for the perfect fit for our family, we found it in this home! The location was great, the house was spotless (and I’m hard to please in that regard), and the personal touches, like cute decorations, good coffee, water bottles, a CLEAN Keurig, and a nice variety of “fun” and healthy snacks made it all that much better. The beds were all comfy, and the split level design made for easy access throughout. We cooked several meals there and had mostly everything we needed - the kitchen was nicely stocked with spices, oil, and sugar. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely consider this home again if we come back to Lancaster for another getaway!

Excellent home away from home

We were very impressed with this home. The open concept living, dining & kitchen was perfect for our family to socialize all together. The bedrooms were very large and having 3 bathrooms was a big plus for all adults. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit just off the kitchen as well John the owner was very nice to work with and helped to make our stay even more comfortable. The kitchen was so very well stocked with just about everything you would need! Will definitely recommend this property and come back again.

The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. I'd certainly recommend this home! It's on a busy road. I was a little nervous with toddlers getting in the car and what not. They did great though. They really enjoyed watching cars and trucks from the front porch and playing in the back yard!

Pre-Christmas College Friends Gathering

How to get into the Christmas Spirit was the question our group of 7 close college friends discussed over a regular Zoom call. It was decided to return to Lancaster to enjoy the Prime Theatre’s annual Illumination Christmas Show and then we needed a place, accessible to all, to stay. John’s Vrbo rental was the perfect spot. He was so accommodating and helpful and we enjoyed every minute of being together in this warm and beautifully appointed ( and decorated) 4 bedroom home. Thank you John for making us feel so welcome!
