Red Roof Inn Lancaster

A little overpriced for what you get. We paid $111 for a room in summer on a week night.

This hotel is comfortable and cozy. However, We had an unexpected blackout in town And the hotel did not inform the guests on what was happening or had a Contingency Plan to make sure that everyone was safe . There was also unsupervised young teenagers having a blasting party next to our room and the manager had to set limits for Their unruly behavior.Things do happen, but it Spoiled our leisure trip somehow .

Have stayed there three times because of sick parents we had to take care of. Rooms are clean and like wood floors instead of carpet. Each time have seen improvements! Plus next door is Lancaster brewery!

I took some clients to the Lancaster area to enjoy the sights. I had stayed at the Red Roof before and found it reasonably priced, clean and conveniently located. The rooms were recently renovated and clean but the door locks were somewhat broken, as were the window screens. My clients and I are mature individuals and we were paired on either side with young drinkers on vacation that were up late and quite noisy. We were also charged a fee for the safe?? to be reimbursed if not used. I did not use the safe and haven't seen the reimbursement yet. The hotel always provided a pleasant breakfast variety. Not recently. The choices were very few. I was told they only provide the good breakfast on the weekends now. I was mildly disappointed with this visit. I do believe I will begin to look for another reasonably priced, clean place to stay in this area.

The location is convenient. The price is great for what I paid for the one room. The staffs are friendly. The pool is kind of small and the breakfast choices were very limited. But I would definitely stay at red roof again.

The motel's advertisement states that they offer a hot/cold buffet breakfast. That is so not true! When I went for breakfast their idea of a hot breakfast was a waffle or toast. The only other choice was cold cereal. I do not consider that a breakfast buffet! Also I went to breakfast well within their closing time. When I complained about the poor breakfast to the person at the front desk, she told me that they only serve hot breakfast on weekends! When I showed her the brochure that my room key came in, which clearly stated that a hot breakfast was served everyday, she didn't have anything to say but to apologize to me about the breakfast. I could have stayed at other motels that was less expensive but I chose this one because of the breakfast. This is false advertising and they should take it down froim their website! I will never book with The REd Roof Inn again!

This place is a dump. Too many things to list and not even worth writing about. The only good thing about it was the two gals that worked the desk. The others dont speak any english to get anything taken care of. Run down inn

It was a nice place newly remodeled and its also in a nice area close to a lot of stores

For the price the room was okay. We booked a king-size bed room several days before we arrived. When we checked in, we were told they only had one king-size room left and the lock was broke on the room, so we would have a room with two-double beds. Also, the room had condiments for coffee/tea and cup lids but no cups or coffee maker?? When we checked out, I mentioned to the front desk staff about there being no coffee maker (because I didn't want them to think we took it). The clerk just looked at me and said "It looks like you booked through Expedia or something so they will email you a receipt." She didn't even acknowledge that I mentioned the coffee maker or say thanks or anything. No thank you or anything. The customer service was very poor.

my stay was good but the house keeping was bad service.

We always take a bus trip to Lancaster but we wanted to do this trip on our own. Red Roof always have low prices which is why we stayed there. Beds were comfy, bathroom clean with toilet paper. Got to open the window to enjoy the crisp morning. The only thing with this Red Roof location is the parking. I feel as though there wasn't enough parking spots. These whole layout of the place was also confusing. So other than a maze and bad parking i will stay again now that I know my way around!

Everything was OK except the continental breakfast was overcrowded and we decided it wasn't worth waiting for. Clean room, friendly staff, fine stay for the money.

Visited Lancaster with my mother and my 8 year old granddaughter. Reserved a deluxe 2 bed room and requested an accessible room due to my mother's age. Upon arrival discovered we were to be on the third floor. Even with an elevator I didn't feel comfortable with it. The young lady at the desk found us a first floor room although I think we lost the deluxe aspect of the reservation. The room was adequate, it did have a small fridge and microwave, a nice plus. The beds were clean and decent but the shower and windows really needed cleaning. Asked for extra towels at desk and the clerk happily obliged. Pool was a nice piece and one of the reasons I chose this inn. Morning breakfast was decent with coffe, juice and milk. Cold and hot cereals available along with mini muffins and toast. Granddaughter was thrilled with the make your own waffle station. Apples and fruit also offered. Nice breakfast! Third day there some ants appeared and the bathroom sink sprung a leak. Informed the front desk as we were leaving. Convenient but busy location, right on highway as were a dozen other places.

Hotel lived up to my expectations and am making plans to return in the Fall.

Good location and good value for the price. Close to eating places and shopping.

The hotel was reasonably priced for what it offered. It was clean and close to restaurants. Staff was friendly.

Staff was helpful, and generally very nice. Room is average... clean, comfortable bed. Great location on US 30 East -near Amish country, shopping.

Location was great. It is right next to Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral. It is close to Lancaster 's attractions. Can not be beat for the price and things were clean etc. Room could have been more attractive if they had different bedspreads. There was even an elevator. The breakfast was not very good--had those tiny muffins and no bagels.

the room was comfortable enough but the complimentary breakfast has a lot to be desired. if there are medical issues don't bother too many carb i.e. waffles, toast, muffins on Friday. Saturday the eggs were very dry and with bariatric surgery they would not go down. oatmeal would be a nice addition. and some skim milk. also the bathroom seems to have a slight mold problem and the door knob kept falling off if u r alone bring ur phone in with u

had a poor experience. the breakfast was not very good and it took them 30 minutes to find my reservation. room had a musky smell
