Nice clean room with good design. Conveniently located a short walk from Kyoto Station. Good dining and shopping choices nearby. I chose this location as a base for day trips to nearby places like Nara and Osaka. I also enjoyed the public bath on the first floor, very relaxing, well maintained and clean.

The location was great, the bathroom is good enough and private, not enough room if you have large luggage, but good enough if you have carry on. The room is clean, the staff are wonderful and friendly, the breakfast was not great. Over all, it is an excellent hotel if you are on a budget. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this hotel! We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect being so close to the train station and exploring the surrounding areas. The hotel was clean, calm and quiet. I loved the onsen and went every evening. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious for Japan standards! Would stay here again and recommend to friends!

My group of four all enjoyed our stay here and would book another stay if we return. It is close to the train station and the accessible to the rest of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but sufficient. Breakfast was delicious and served hot. There are Japanese baths (one for men, one for women), and that’s a special amenity. And there are bikes to borrow. And the aesthetic was peaceful.
