The Ritz Carlton Hong Kong5.0 out of 5.0

The views of Hong Kong from the hotel are incredible, given it’s on the top floors of the highest building in the city. I could have spent hours watching the city and ships from our room. Service is excellent. We only stayed one night (passing through) but enjoyed the club, which had a very good selection of food almost all day long. We booked the Ritz Kids tent for our daughter which she liked very much and where should could sleep at night, as it came with a bed. Definitely would stay here again!
Very good hotel. Swift and pleasant check-in experience. Special thanks to the lobby guy who settled the taxi payment for me as the driver (for the reason I didn’t understand as he forgot English as soon as we reached the hotel) refused to accept the card. I got the room on the 111th floor with a stunning ocean view. The room itself was large and light, the bed mattress was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything that you need. Drawbacks? Location is a bit of problem (at least for me) as it is in Kowloon and you are getting nice views over the Hong Kong downtown, but have to spend at least 20 min to get to the Central. Yeah, and please put an ATM at the lobby.
This has to be one of the world’s best hotels - at least one of the best city hotels. It’s one of those hotels that is in a class above all others; a five-star review really doesn’t do it justice. You likely already know about the breathtaking views and the impeccable Ritz-Carlton level of service. My room had an automatic toilet with a heated seat, automatic blinds, and a ledge with pillows to sit and enjoy the view. The shower even had specific temperature markings to tell you the exact temperature of the water. The level of quality at this hotel is insane. I am a Titanium Marriott member so I was upgraded to an amazing suite upon check-in, which was a nice surprise. The only potential drawback: the hotel is above a fancy mall and Kowloon Station, and is easy to get in and out of, but note that it’s across the bay in Kowloon in an industrial area with lots of construction. It’s not an easy place to walk out and grab a drink - you’d want to take a taxi or subway. Bottom line - if you have a chance to stay at this amazing hotel, do yourself a favor and do it!
I have a chance to be back at Ritz Carlton Hong Kong again. This time i stayed in Club Victoria Harbour View Room. The best thing for me besides the good view from the highest hotel in the world is the club lounge. Everything is still fabulous. I can say that I should spend all my day long in the lounge. I would like to give compliments to those staffs in the club lounge that took care of me very well during my stay. Brandon who checked me in and help to check the free limo service schedule for me. He provided really great service. Patricia who also often came to check me and asked what I need again and again. I was spoiled by her great hospitality and service. I really enjoyed our conversation. It made me feel like I have friends here who I can sit back, relax and talk with them everything during my vacation. Serena and Winnie also provided me a great service. Their sense of humor made me smile and more relax. Specially, Winnie also provided me the nail clipper which I requested to her because I have a problem about my nail. At first I do not think that the hotel can provide me and start to think that I should go downstairs to Element for it. But she brought the nail clipper to me. I really impressed with that. I also have a chance to meet new intern in the club lounge Edward, Flugen and other two European guys, they also provided me a very very good service and I felt their enthusiasm towards the work. Dim Sum and Chinese food at Tin Lung Heen is still fabulous. From what I wrote, I am sure to be back here again and again and again, my beloved Ritz Carlton HK 😄
this is a belated review but i felt i owed it to the hotel's amazing staff and service. on my way from the airport, i actually parted a huge sum by mistake with the taxi driver and realised it to my horror upon check-in. the recept Joanna (if i recall her name correctly) was most helpful and empathetic; she quickly activated security to search for the taxi driver's carplate no. and also reassured me. security then accompanied me to the police station to file a report followed by seamless follow up from the shift manager. in the end the taxi driver returned the money which was promptly received by the manager who also helped to interface with the police. i was most grateful to the entire team esp Joanna who went out of their way to ensure i pursue all possible courses of action to retrieve my money. the ritz carlton hong kong is really the epitomy of 5 star service and excellence. the spirit of commitment to service excellence is very commendable.
I basically live in hotels, I can honestly say that our stay at the Ritz was incredible. Never have I had staff so friendly and helpful. Thanks for all the effort you guys did to make our night unforgettable.
Came to hongkong with my mom for a 2 days trip. We have stayed many hotels in hongkong, Ritz Carlton shows the best service. From the moment i checked in, every staff was very kind and helpful. I met a staff called Steven, a very kind, cute and most importantly helpful gentleman. He took the initiative to help us during our stay, suggesting places to visit, good foods to eat in HK and took pictures for us. He even left us lovely cookies and a hand written card in our room, it was a very memorable experience. Thank you so much to every staff that took care of us! We will come back for you Steven^^
I stayed 4 nights in the highest hotel in the world – Ritz Carlton Hong Kong. Me and my friend flew from Almaty to Hong Kong for the first time to celebrate her birthday. Our room was on 108th floor and the view was just amazing! Since the very entrance to the hotel and till departure it was a unforgettable experience. Our stay in HK was amazing because of high-level service provided at Ritz Carlton Hong Kong hotel. What is more important to mention is the hotel’s personnel. They were always polite, attentive to details and very helpful. We met a young lady from guest relations – Elina Bayan, who offered her help on the first day. When we came to the room in the evening on the first day, we received delicious compliments and a card with best wishes from Elina. It was so nice and very kind of her. On my friend’s birthday, Elina helped me with arrangement of Bday decorations of the room. Our window was decorated with beautiful balloons and Happy Birthday banner! It was so sweet of her! Whenever we met her, she always was ready to help us and make our stay even more comfortable. Housekeeping lady - Michelle was very attentive to all our needs and cleaning services were provided without even need of asking. Also, the location of hotel on Kowloon side was the best since Airport express (25 min ride) departs from Kowloon station which is located in the same building of hotel down. OMG, the swimming pool on 118th floor with jacuzzi is a must to go there! The view is just breathtaking! Very recommend it! We will definitely come back to HK to Ritz Carlton hotel again and again. Thank you, Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong team, and special thank you to Elina Bayan!
My most favorite place to do High Tea in Hong Kong. I have done High Tea in many countries over the years but have to say that the High Tea at the Ritz-Carlton HK was one of the best I've had. The views are spectacular, the food is outstanding, and the teas are amazing. Everyone who works there is a pleasure to speak with. I look forward to going back! @traveleen_gurl
I just finished an exceptional 3 day experience at the Ritz Carlton. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the hospitality and service I received during my stay was truly outstanding. They didn't miss any details and were always available to assist me with any of my needs. All of the staff were highly professional, warm and welcoming at the food and accommodations were perfect. Thank you Ritz Carlton!
