They told us the room has a city view upon check-in, but it didn't.

I booked this hotel via Orbitz. I've given more than 7 days notice to Orbitz and New World Millennium Hong Kong that we had to cancel our stay in the hotel because Mr. Baldwin's relative and close friend is terminally ill and we need fly to the US to help that person. We've provided a medical certificate, proof of kinship, a formal letter explaining our reason. Nevertheless both Orbitz and New World are having us undergo an agonizingly long process to get our refund. I would understand if this is our first booking in Orbitz or first stay in New World Millenium, but we've booked thousands of dollars via Orbitz in the past 3 years, and thousands of

We stayed at City view room, the room was beautiful but the view was to the building across the street and the hotel lobby rooftop. Good location

I love this hotel. The location is good and very convenience. The facilities are new and nice. The staff is very nice and professional. I will recommend it to my friends who will go to Hong Kong.

We had a great time in HK and the hotel is so convenient to get to places. Lots of places to eat around the hotel, as well as banking, pharmacies, shops, etc.Staff was very courteous and professional. Special thanks to the outstanding concierge Marshall and Raymond, who gave us helpful info and assistance beyond the call of duty. They genuinely cared about providing the best experience for us while visiting HK. Everyone greeted us when we went in and out. It was nice to see friendly faces and exchange conversations with the concierge. They made us feel welcome and wanted to make sure we had a great vacation. We also joined a day tour to Lantau Island and that was definitely worth it. The services at the hotel were great. They always followed with a call to make sure that our requests were taken care of. We will definitely stay at the New World next time we go to HK, just to visit with Marshall and Raymond again!

Courteous service. Modern facility. Very quiet room

All hotel staffs were very friendly, and location was great. Almost most of the spots were accessible by walk within 20-25 minutes top, and the breakfast at 1st floor/ complimentary foods at the 14th floor were really spot-on. Handy phone hotel provided had unlimited data and minutes to use, and if I didn't have it I don't want to imagine how hard it could have been to travel around. The room was clean, though it could have been having some extra touch on here and there. I asked one of the staffs to recommend near-by foot massage place, and one that we got really ripped me off. I notified the hotel about the incident and hopefully that place will not recommend ever again to other people. (Peninsula Health Land @ Peninsula Centre) Other than ripped off experience, the hotel was very nice. I would stay there again.

Good view Nice room Good view Nice room

Rooms have been remodeled . Very nice. Staff very helpful although room service a bit slow & struggles with English language.

It was a double experiance 2 good and 2 bad points Goods are 1. Location is great close and walking distances. 2. They give you a free cell phone to talk and you can use it to give internet to the rest of your devices. For free its a first Tha bad part is 1. The hotel is under renovati9n and I really dont recall tjat being mentioned when I booked no sleeping during the day 2. The rooms are old and they tried tochange us from 3 rooms into 2 in a clever slik way but we refused

I liked it because it is not that expensive and the Hotel is five stars. So I was very satisfied.

This is my second trip to Hong Kong and the Nikko needs a make over. For the money I should of stayed at the Icon just around the corner. I have stayed at the Nikko hotels in many cities and this one you should pass on. Great view from the room but not worth the money.

Top notch all around and great value, most of the time.

When I check in , the front desk give me for free upgrate floor . thanks !

Large hotel, Lobbi was messed with check-in and check-ou guests, staff was not very proffetional.

Got my money's worth. Hong Kong is expensive, but this one is worth it.

It was good, but some of the rooms are getting remodeled, which is noisy.

I've lived in the area for the 5 years but this time I'm staying in Kowloon as a visitor. The location is great, close to Hung Hom MTR station (and the upcoming Whampoa one), which gets you to anywhere in HK. Also within walking distance to bars in Tsim Sha Tsui (or take a cab if you're too tired to walk back). I'd give it a 4.5 star for location if I could, the one drawback being no hotel shuttle to or from the Airport Express stations. However, you can easily get off at Kowloon station, then 1) take a cab. 2) take the free shuttle to Hung Hom area then walk here, or 3) walk to Austin MTR station then take the train to Hung Hom station, then walk here. Rooms are spacious in HK standard, very clean, and staff are all very friendly. Only complaint is that WiFi is not free, which might be normal in the States but not really the norm in HK. The new Hotel ICON one block away offers complementary WiFi, albeit the room rate is not as good as Nikko's.
