I found a bed bug on my pillow when I arrived. I told the front desk, said I wanted to cancel and get a refund, and found another place to stay. I was yelled at, made out to be liar, and refused my money back by the owner even after I provided proof (a picture and geotag). Expedia finally gave me my money back, but the hotel owner and staff still haven’t taken responsibility for the incident. I’m truly appalled, not even by the bed bug, but by the way I was treated.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The manager of the Econo Lodge did not honor our reservation. We would like our money refunded. I believe he sold our room to someone else and passed it off as a plumbing problem. We were never contacted. Instead, we were forced to drive home with no sleep.
With some attention to cleanliness, repairs and upkeep this could be a reasonable stay

Dirty Dirty and yes Dirty with the strong smell of cigarette smoke with holes in comforter and covers so glad I had my own bedding definitely a place to crash in desperate times
Horrible smell, dirty, black mold, busted tv, stains on the bedding, bugs in the room. This place was horrible I have never had such a bad experience before. Stay away.
Horrible!! When we checked in our room did not have water. Told the guy at the front desk and he got it back on. The shower leaked the whole time after he turned it on. The cable in the rooms did not work. Told the guy at the front desk and he claimed the cable was out. The sheets had stains on them, the bathroom had mold, old toothpaste on the sink, hair on the wall, food on the chair. The air conditioner was very very loud. People was going in and out of rooms all night/morning long. People outside in the parking lot talking loud. They finally went in the room about 4:30am and could still hear them thru the walls.
Staff was efficient and friendly.
The room was disgusting. As an example, in our non-smoking room, the bedspread had six cigarette holes in it.
The AC had a bad smell, and the bathroom was so gross - run down, rusty, moldy shower curtain, punch holes in the door, etc.
Do not let the nice pictures fool you! We reserved a room thinking it would be a nice enough place for a cheap price. There were homeless people EVERYWHERE at the property. You expect some being in the location that it is, but this was more than expected and it made you feel uneasy that your car was going to get broken into or even your room. Then we get checked into our room....the toilet was broken (had to go to Burger King next door to use the restroom), there were burn marks in the carpet, stains on the sheets, no remote for the TV and no way to turn it on otherwise. The air conditioning unit was ungodly loud and didnt do anything to cool the room down. There was a horrible smell in the room and even leaving the door open, we could not get it out.
The ONLY good thing about this stay was the woman working the front counter. I spoke to her about the concerns with our room after a trip to Burger King in order to use the restroom and asked only for our second night to be refunded, as we can't stay in a room that has no working toilet. She was understanding and courteous. She never gave an attitude, she never made me feel like i was complaining over nothing, she was amazing. I know i wouldnt have gotten the same response if it was one of the other employees working there.
You expect to compromise on some things when you get a cheaper hotel room. There are just some things that I cannot compromise on and a working bathroom is one of those things.
Refused to give my deposit back because they did not remember taking it. AFTER I HAD THE RECEIPT!!!!

The staff was very friendly but the room was horrible. The AC had been turned off, so the room had a horrible smell when we opened the door. The floors were also dirty
The air conditioner wasn’t working properly and when I brought it to their attention, they looked at it, but didn’t do anything about it. They did not have another room to offer me.
