While staying at the adjacent TownePlace Suites, I had dinner one evening at the Bistro. It was a nasty night, weather wise, and I did not feel like more traffic and weather; the Bistro is perfect for such an occasion. Their menu changes regularly, and since I haven't been in a Courtyard for a while, I took a few minutes to decide how hungry I was. The bar tender and the cook were both helpful in describing a few of the choices. Roasted Brussels Sprouts were delicious and plentiful, it could have been dinner with a bit of bread to accompany. Chicken Pot pie was good but the top was over cooked (not so badly that I'd return it, but 'well browned' to say the least) Service was fast and friendly, as I'd expect in a Courtyard.

The hotel is nice but not overly nice. It is clean and quiet which is of obvious particular importance. The front desk staff is very good but the cafe has the same dining options as always. Again. Fit for purpose. It is a good business hotel.

Ciara helped me so much. it was awesome the way she was able to help me with any questions I had. You need more employees like her. Such a sweetheart and definitely made this hotel a choice of mine in the future. Especially for the two men and a truck franchise. I'll definitely refer this hotel Bc of the outstanding job she's done. THANKS CIARA

Excellent hotel with a superb staff. Close to I75 so very convenient. Safe and secure neighborhood. Clean and well maintained in all areas of the property. Their people really take pride in serving the guests. The Bistro food is prepared fresh right there so you can get it the way you like it.

Hotel is about 15 min west of downtown, was clean and consistent with what you would expect from a Courtyard hotel. Ciara checked us in late and was awesome and friendly! I would definitely stay here again.

We booked our room online and drove 3 hours at night to arrive to an unprofessional mess. We arrived at the hotel at 2:30am and there was a intoxicated gentleman in between the main doorway unable to open the doors to the lobby. The doors would not open and there was no one in the lobby to check in with. As my friend was trying to call the hotel numerous times, police arrived and stated that they also were unable to get ahold of the hotel and didn’t know why the doors would not open either. After about a half hour of trying to get ahold of someone at the hotel and watching police deal with the intoxicated man we asked if we should just try to find somewhere else. We drove around and tried about 4 other hotels and they were all booked. We finally found one that had one room available almost an hour later. The hotel charged her credit card even though we were unable to check in. When she contacted them they stated that she didn’t cancel or check in therefore her card was charged. She explained what had happened and that we had TRIED to check in and all of the inconvenience we endured from the incident that night. They did apologize and explained that the man was making his way around the hotels and the staff was not comfortable and locked the doors. I don’t understand that with an open reservation and police on their way, why someone wouldn’t have answered the phone or at least contacts the person with a reservation to give them a heads up. They finally refunded the money. I understand things happen, but there were many ways to handle this situation from the beginning in order to avoid major inconveniences to a traveler in the middle of the night.

Having cut our trip short because of the mold and cockroaches in our hotel in Corbin, what a pleasure to arrive at this hotel. We are gold members and the receptionist had gone to the trouble to acquaint himself with our dossier. The room was fabulous, we had a wonderful balcony and all in all it was the best hotel on our trip.

We stayed one night at this Courtyard Marriott while traveling back to Fl after hurricane Irma. It was so nice to be so warmly greeted and checked in by Niki. after taking our bags to a nice king bed room, we went to the Bistro, where Corey fixed us a delicious Turkey Rueben and chicken spinach flat bread. He was so friendly and so genuine in wanting to please the customer. After such a stressful week, he was able to make us laugh and put a smile on our face. Certainly, management has 2 great employees! We enjoyed the lemon infused water in the lobby and the chocolate chip cookies. Since we had to leave early in the morning, we did not miss having breakfast, although I must say I think Marriott should honor gold statusvwith complimentary breakfast.

Stayed here a couple Months ago and should have kept notes. Rooms try and hide old stale tobacco smells and the restaurant / bar only have your second choices and the food preparation is poor. Even the house red runs out.....very disappointed!

Trust me, I live in hotels 240 nights a year. While it is not the most luxurious...keep in mind, there are not many luxury hotels, if any in the area...this hotel keeps me coming back on average 12 nights or more a month for the past 6 years. The staff is warm and friendly. Of course, I would be remiss if I did not give a call out to Cory in the Bistro, Veronica from housekeeping and Erik, the lead engineer. Each of these folks are the primary reason for my returns. The hotel is clean, friendly and in a great location if you are going to be in the Cedar Bluff area of Knoxville. ~Charles W....aka, Mr. W.~
