Clean hotel and recently updated since we were there last. Friendly staff gave us maps and directions to various restaurants. Ez to get to and Ez to get back on headed south in the morning. The room was great. Checked for bed bugs ( I do everywhere) and there were NONE. Great amenities. And plenty of coffee. Cost was reasonable and the refrigerator and AC were quiet. Good quality bedding. Try it.... nice place
I traveled to Knoxville, TN to attend a graduation and booked my room at Courtyard located at Langley Place, on N Peters Boulevard, off Cedar Bluff Exit. This is an excellent location close to I-40, many stores, places to eat and yet nestled on a quiet cove. Upon entering the premises I perceived an indistinct and inviting fresh fragrance. The furniture design and décor are modern and stylish with bright attractive colors. I arrived to town much earlier than anticipated but they were willing to accommodate and let me check-in immediately. My room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and sitting area, had a balcony from where I could see the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel has an indoor pool where I watched some children having lots of fun. The staff was professional and friendly and my stay was a very pleasant one. If I need to go back to Knoxville, I will stay there again.
This is the second time I have stayed here in the past couple of months. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice and clean and it was a great deal for the amount I paid. This will be my go to place anytime I'm in this area now.
We drove from New Jersey going to Mississippi and Tennessee was our first stop. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman blake. He was so nice. We arrived and at first was not going to stay because breakfast was not included. We came back to the hotel and glad we did The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. They don't offer queen beds. However the 2 double beds and sofa bed worked out well. The room was very nice and spacious for a family of four. At bistro the guy was really nice, I don't know his name. My daughter said Tennesee is a great town with hospitable people. We will definitely stay again if we land in Tennessee!!!
I stayed here for four days on business and I will stay here every time. The room was very clean and as advertised. The Bistro had a good variety and was miles better than the Outback Steakhouse down the road. I ate at Outback my first night and dined at The Bistro every meal after that. The chicken wings in particular were superb! And the host; Cory, was so friendly and kind that I felt like he was a genuine friend by the time I left. I will stay here anytime I'm in Knoxville. I had a great experience!
I stayed here for first time. It is in an area of lots of hotels. They were best priced for our date of need. Very comfortable and convenient. They have a cafe to have dinner or breakfast, not included in stay. Starbucks coffee was a plus.
The hotel is very dated, with obvious defects in workmanship (i.e. the shower door does not align with the wall when closed, doors will not stay open in closet and will not open enough to make use of mirrors on the doors). The "gym" is tiny, with 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, and a few dumbbells. The hot tub was broken, there are no microwaves in the King rooms (not sure about others), there are no safes in the room, and the carpet smells musty in the first floor hallway by my room. The beds are very comfortable, as well as the pillows, and the oversize couch in the room is a very nice touch. This hotel could, and should do better. I will probably not stay here again, but the people were very nice all around, and Savannah at the bar was awesome over the weekend!
Like most Marriott Courtyards, this Cedar Bluff version is close to the freeway and near many eating places (I recommend Carrabba's). Beware that my MapQuest GPS navigation system did not provide an accurate access route. Apple Maps did. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well run. Everything worked as designed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Access back on to I-40/75 is very easy.
I don't want to sound overly critical, but I don't think I'm alone in looking for good water pressure in a hotel room. The pressure in the faucet was great, but the shower was just average... Other than that, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and well maintained. I wish I didn't take the first floor room, I generally get an upper floor. A couple of people slammed the door to the stairs between 5:30am and 6am, waking me up both times. Obviously not the hotel's fault. I was in room 103. I could hear traffic on the road outside fairly well too.
My family and I were travelling to Orlando, FL and this was our stop over for the night. We arrived there in the late afternoon and was greeted by the most friendly front desk staff, a gentleman named Blake. Blake was always going ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations, willing to help us in any way. He showed me how to work the equipment in the gym, gave us directions to Turkey Creek for shopping and restaurants, he provided us with extra towels. He was the PERFECT host. Whomever in management reads this - we will constantly rebook with you on our next travels down just because of how awesome Blake is!!!!!! The hotel was impeccably clean, beautiful and cozy inside the lobby, a Starbucks for such convenience, a perfectly sized pool/hot tub, the exercise equipment was perfect - new and got a great work out! The rooms were amazing - all modern, granite counters in the bathrooms, impeccably clean as well, beautifully updated, the beds were so incredibly comfortable andthe location is close to all the amenities you could ever need. This hotel by far was way over 5 STARS! I can promise you that when you book here, you will find the comforts of home, great friendly staff and everything you would ever need on your stay. I will always make this my stop over when travelling to Florida. Thank you so much Blake for all your hard work, your dedication to your job, your friendly demeanor. You made our stay!!
