Super 8 - Kingman AZ2.0 out of 5.0

Good location for visiting northwestern Arizona wonders. The breakfast room got 4 tables so it's very busy in the morning; the breakfast it's poor compared to the Super 8 standard. We've been there to see the Route 66 landmarks and the Havasupai trail, so the lodging wasn't an issue.
After I reported him to Wyndham, he called me and yelled that he wasn't rude. That the reason they don't put the breakfast out is because homeless people come in and take their food. For I asked do I look homeless? So he got more verbally aggressive demanding I call them back and say that he was not being rude. I told him that he ruined my morning and I was just going to hang up. I asked if I could cancelled my second night and was told if I didn't want to spend the night there it was up to me but that I was still being charged!!! Awful experience.
We checked in on Friday the 25th and checked on the 26th with her three-year-old daughter and a tub was so dirty. There is black marks all over the bottom of the tub so I did not let her take a bath. The floor was not swept in the restroom and the AC unit is too small for that big suite we were in . . And not to mention we went to the pool and there is trash in the pool and the water is cloudy it was just a disgusting experience. When we went to check out the maid there was very rude to my husband.
Great place to stay, rooms were clean, staff was nice.wish I was offered a chance for my wyndam rewards
We were traveling and just needed a place for the night. Did a walking check in and a room was available. Night clerk very friendly. Reasonable prices at $68.68 with aarp discount. Breakfast was available but nothing special overall can't complain much and would stay there again.
Upon arrival, after 16 hours on the road I found the room door not secured. It was obvious that someone had laid on the bed (not in the bed). Went to make me a cup of decaf and found a bug in the top cup. Tried to use the wifi and could not connect no matter what I tried. The next morning I found a bug in empty coffee cup. Went to take a shower and there was no towel setup. Got dressed and went to the front desk, after a waiting for the night clerk to show up and dig up a towel set. I got the usual blah, blah... apology. Upon returning to the room I found there was no soap of any kind in the bathroom. I was able to wing it from my travel kit. By this time it was time to meet my grandson and get back on the road. The super 8 experience was a disappointment . In the future, if my only choice was to sleep in my truck or a super 8 it would be iffy.
I wasn't pleased with the management, during my stay I was harrased and stalked on due to my appearance. I had a $100 deposit which I didn't receive back due to guest visit. My understanding was I could visitors just not pass 11:00pm that issue was resolve. The deposit was for damages which where none. Me and my friend where basically judge, and harrased by management.
The staff were great, very friendly and helpful! I had 3 young kids with me and they put me right at the front so I didn't have to go far. They even offered to help carry my luggage in. I would definitely stay again
When traveling cross country we just need a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. We will stay here again. Alex at the front desk was a great help. He was polite and courteous when we spilled ice all over the lobby floor.
Generally we were pretty happy about the room and the hotel, until we had to go to sleep. We were given the first room by the lobby, right by the ice machine and the breakfast area. This meant that we could not sleep at all at night, because everytime someone had to get ice, it sounded like they were standing right next to us. In the morning we both woke up at 6.15, because of all the people who were having breakfast, and again it sounded like they were sitting right next to our beds. It was all nice and clean, no doubt about that, but I don't think that you can place a room the way our room was placed, if you don't at least isolate it for sound or something else.
