We stayed for two nights in a double room. Everything was as expected. Comfortable beds, nice room amenities to include a hair dryer, ensuite, electric tea kettle and television. Breakfast included was very good as well with several options for appetites large and small. There were several tour groups staying here at the same time. Note that the pool does not stay open late in case you want a late night swim. Downtown area is very walkable from this hotel. No need to hire a car. All in all an enjoyable stay.

We had stayed here before a couple of years ago, however this time we decided to stay as a couple for a night, Check in was ok but absolutely no recognition for my Spire Elite status, no room upgrade . The room was not nice at all, far too hot and stuffy no AC available or installed, very uncomfortable nights sleep. I called down to ask for a late checkout of 2pm which is NEVER a problem at any IHG property, but it was here, the duty Manager made a very big deal about how impossible it was and he could not help. I tried again and he relented to allow me 12.30... really disappointing and will not be returning

Delightful hotel with super friendly staff, excellent views and the right price. The in-house gym and pool were a bit small but at least they provided those amenities! Also, just a short walk to the beautiful town of Killarney! Highly recommended!

Took my 3 daughters agex 11, 8 and 7 years to the Holiday Inn in Killarney for 2 nights. Room was spotless and warm. The pool was small but it was all the same depth which made watching the kids easier. Dressing room and showers were very clean too. Staff in the bar were very friendly. Would definately return with my girls and would highly recommend it to people.

This hotel fit our needs perfectly as we were able to rent a two-room suite for my husband and myself and our adult son. The rooms were shabby and not decorated at all but the beds were comfortable and, since we were in the back building, very quiet. The weekend we visited Killarney was a bank holiday weekend and also the town hosted a huge gathering of bikers which likely made it noisy in the front of the building. The second room had a refrigerator and looked as if it had once had other kitchen amenities but they were not accessible. We did not use the pool or the spa but noted that many families booked here for the weekend and they were put to good use. Since this was a Holiday Inn I expected laundry facilities but they have none and laundry must be sent out. Turnaround time for laundry to go out and be returned was fast. The restaurant and pub have decent food, not great -- we ate elsewhere when we could during our three-day stay. Free on-site parking is a plus.

The hotel is located between the town centre and the National Park. There's plenty of off street parking available. The rooms are a bit dated but are a decent size however they lacked some amenities like a fridge, in-room safe and ironing board which you probably can request. I asked for a quiet room and was situated out the back which was quiet enough for sleeping. Wi-Fi was free and worked well. The hotel has a nice bar where you can order food and also a restaurant which I didn't try.

This holiday inn did not even come close to the brand name. Very old, tired rooms. We had an upgrade due to IHG status and the two room "suite" had an ancient tv in the bedroom, and a more modern flatscreen in the living room. The room had once been a kitchenette but no longer had anything working other than a refrig. The bathroom needed maintenance (which I advised on the way out), and the lack of at least one picture was appalling. Have they all been stolen? Breakfast was of medium quality. It did have an indoor pool and hot tub (which we did not use) and the location was excellent for starting the Ring of Kerry and visiting Muckross House. Subway was within walking distance for sandwiches. The bed was not too great either. Probably been there as long as the hotel!

Stayed here with 2 kids....5 and 8. Had a great stay, breakfast was fresh and always full. And great location...easy to access anything we wanted. Deffo stay again. Great pool also. Have stayed in many expensive hotels in killarney and this being one of the cheaper ones, it defdo does exactly the same job. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here on a Friday night. Good Location and nice lobby. Efficient and friendly check in. We added the breakfast to our bill. Not my idea though. Nice room with two good sized beds. Very comfortable. Nice shower. Breakfast very poor. Won't say anymore. That aside would stay again and breakfast elsewhere.

Stayed here for two nights on our trip to Ireland. Staff very good but room more than a bit tired. Also outside our window a central heating unit that operated late and come on early. Not the most relaxing of places
