Stayed with a group for one night recently. Very happy with the rate and service. Smashing breakfast and only a short stroll from town centre. Very well looked after and definitely recommend. Thanks👍👍
Nice food.hotel nice.few hiccups with the room and shower but Noreen was excellent and couldn't do enough for us.and paul who works in the bar and the security at night are a credit to ur hotel.we will definitely be back again.
Stayed with a friend for one night. I organized the booking with Amanda, she was very professional and so helpful. On arrival was felt very welcome by the reception staff. The room was fabulous, very clean and comfortable. Short 10 minute walk into the centre of Killareny so ideal for a great night out in Killarney. And great value. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Spent one night here recently as we were attending a function nearby. We were a group of 5 adults and booked a double and triple room. Rooms basic however clean and that is very important. 3 adults in one one and only towels provided for 2 but in fairness this was a very minor issue. Had dinner sitting outside as the weather was great. You have to order inside and pay upfront if eating outside but this was no problem. We had prawns and wings to start all were great. Chicken goujons which were excellent, beef burger, chicken burger and chicken fajitas had for mains and it was delicious. Also had breakfast in the morning however we did arrive late and most of the hot food was gone but there was more sent out for us quickly and it was again lovely. The location of the hotel is perfect and we enjoyed our stay.
I arrived here Friday evening to stay for 2 night due to work in the area. I had specifically selected "work" as my reason for travel on booking.com. This, I assumed would mean the hotel would take care in selecting a room for me that would not be exposed to too much noise. I arrive and check in was quick and easy. I arrived to my arrive and my first impression was the heavy thick air in the room. The smell was quite musty. I opened window to air out the room as best as I could. The decor in both the bathroom and room was quite dated. I was given 2 small body gels to shower with and wash my hair. I normally travel with my own shower gel and shampoos but as I was in a rush packing I forgot both of these. I called down to reception to enquire about air conditioning....there is none. I also call the next morning to enquire about the location of the safe in my room...there is none.. I was working near by and had to take all of my belongings with me that I didn't need with me because they are valuable and I did not feel comfortable just leaving them in the room without a safe. The bed is so uncomfortable. I drove almost 4 hours and booked the room so I could have a good rest before and after work and on both nights I got a maximum of 4 hours sleep because of the heat in the room and the beds being so uncomfortable. I travel very very regularly with work and for leisure and I don't normally find time to review hotels but when I experience something this bad I feel it's my duty to inform others... €248....I could have parked my car up somewhere and been more comfortable sleeping in that
Room was very dirty. Bathroom was not cleaned properly was dirty old shower cap left in bathroom and room very dirty . Old fake eyelashes and hair all over the floor and stuck to the bed clothes .Receptionist very rude to talk to .would not stay here again .
The room smells like grandma s attic and moth balls. Hot and stuffy room. Hotel ran out of portable fans. Breakfast lady manager was short with me when I asked if they had artificial sweeteners. ATM was not working.
Hotel was situated ten minutes walk from Killarney on the edge of a busy road by a Supermarket and garage. The Hotel smelt like an old people’s home and was shabby and tired throughout . There is a pub attached which was also rough. The rooms paint chipped carpet marked . Fresh crisp linen only thing good about this hotel . The breakfast room was like a works canteen lifeless with limited choice . All together the worst hotel .
I knew after the first night we should have informed staff but we kinda hoped that night 2 would be better. After the second night we knew there was only 1 night left and were too tired to complain and possibly swap rooms. The beds were soooooo soft..... uncomfortably soft. The room we were allocated was at the front of the hotel facing the busy roundabout. The traffic noise was horrendous from about 6am to 1am. We could not close the window as the heat was suffocating and there was no air conditioning. The refuse collectors were up early too 4.40am every other day. The rooms are outdated and need a complete renovation. The bathrooms definitely need an overhaul. The water goes hot and cold during your shower. The food was just OK. THE STAFF HOWEVER WERE LOVELY AND COULDNT BE MORE HAPPY TO HELP. The hotel is in a good location for touring about. The rooms at the rear of the hotel COULD be quiter. I guess the saying 'you get what you pay for' is true. I have informed the hotel of the problems since becoming less crabbid due to lack of sleep and they have offered to give me a discounted rate if I am due to visit the area again. I'm sorry but I think I value my sleep more than a discounted rate.
We recently stayed here for our anniversary weekend it was so relaxing and nice. Such a friendly, clean and comfortable hotel to stay in. Great location only 10 min walk to town center and reasonably priced
