This is not just a hotel; this place is an experience unlike any other. My husband and I went on a short break last weekend and were instantly relaxed the moment we entered the hotel. The staff are absolutely brilliant, and it seems like they anticipate your every move. I would like to give a special thanks to David O’Brien who really went out of his way to ensure all our needs were taken care of, we really didn’t need to “ask” for anything- it was already done. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with fantastic views of the Killarney mountains. The food was phenomenal. Everything about this place is perfection! They really aim to please. Will definitely return and would highly recommend the Aghadoe Heights to family and friends.

After traveling from Dublin counter-clockwise around this lovely Country on a Tauck Tour, we arrived at this gem. The location is glorious and the hotel’s uniquely modern architecture celebrates the Lakes and encourages guests to marvel at the vistas -either from the comfort of your balcony or by a stroll around the grounds. The well-appointed rooms and warm staff are so inviting, we are hard-pressed to leave. Laura in the hotel restaurant is a real standout - providing exceptional service delivered with gracious Irish charm. She adds a lovely touch of fun to the dining experience and is not to be missed if you want to make the most of your time here.

I recently stayed here with my wife and I have to say it was the highlight of our trip to Ireland .delicious food welcoming, efficient staff and world class Spa. I will certainly be going back the next time we go to Ireland . The views across Lough Leane are spectacular and do not miss an evening in Killarney town which seems to have it all. Wonderful !!

Large room with spectacular views of the Killarney lakes.I booked though and got 2 nights B&B with a dinner on a night of our choice. There is a pool and a gym. A little pricy for drinks, but it was a special occasion.Their is a cinema in the town.

My family and I just celebrated a milestone birthday for my wife in the Lake room restaurant in the Aghadoe Heights Hotel. The food, ambience, wait staff, in fact everything, was absolutely fantastic. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was really really good and the views out onto the lakes of killarney is phenomenal. Thanks to everyone for such a lovely evening. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.

Just left Aghadoe Heights Hotel feeling spoiled, relaxed and utterly refreshed. Can’t praise the staff enough from reception, concierge, spa, restaurant .. all so welcoming professional and natural. Special thanks to Assistant Manager David O’Brien - a true professional for adding extra touch of star quality. We can’t wait to come back.

Hands down one of the most beautiful hotels that we have stayed at. The room was enormous, comfortable and spotless and the view was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and obliging. I would go back tomorrow if I could, well done!

I have to admit, when I arrived I took a double look at my Google maps directions thinking surely this isnt it..It really isnt very charming from the outside mainly because of all the balconys..thank God its a whole other story inside! Nice big clean warm lobby, friendly+easy check-in. In fact I was an hour early but my room was ready so great! Lovely room with large balcony. The views overlooking the lake+mountains are stunning. For anyone considering bringing kids, they accomodate brilliantly for kids as there are a load of apps and games on the room TVs and you can hire DVDs and even a PlayStation from reception. The thermal suite is complimentary to guests between 5+7:30 but unfortunately you arent allowed use your mobile so I dont have any pictures of it. Its nice but small enough, they claim for the Hammam to smell of aromatic scents...if you call sweat aromatic?!?!..Every good 5 star has a turndown service in the evenings and last nights included a Lily O'Briens chocolate. Nice. This mornings breakfast was a bit disappointing,a great menu and loads on offer but my Eggs Benedict which I usually lap up wasnt great, the English muffin was in fact just a slice of white bread..Disappointing that a 5 star hotel chef chanced that. However banana bread was on offer which ive never seen on a breakfast menu and that was delicious I booked this deal on luxury breaks .ie for €139,excellent price. Always worth a look. Overall a great stay.

Stayed recently with family in the Aghadoe Heights Hotel for a 2 night break including dinner. The room was spacious and included a lovely balcony with fantastic views of the lakes of Killarney. The bathroom was excellent with the high point being the rain shower. The breakfast was very good and the service excellent. The food in the bar in the evening was nice but expensive. The food in the dining room was very good but expensive and very small portions. The pianist was very good and a welcome addition to the dining experience. The pool was very poor - the jacuzzi was not working on the day we went to the pool and the changing rooms were outdated and far from the standard of a 5* hotel. The view of the pool from the bar/lobby area is unusual and it is a bit uncomfortable to be swimming in the pool while wedding guests outside in the garden are looking in at you!! The spa was lovely and the complete opposite of the poor area. In general the very best experience in the hotel related to the service, particularly the General Manager, Paul Early, who was very hands on and a pleasure to deal with and no little extra was too much. He is a great asset to the hotel.

Our room was gorgeous, we had spectacular views and a balcony too! Beds were very comfy, shower was great! Food was crazy good, really high standard. Cocktails were great. The pool area is a bit dated and there is very little atmosphere at the bar. It was fantastic for one night but had we stayed longer we would have needed to pay for taxis to go into Killarney Centre to find a bit of life!
