This is not just a hotel - it’s a place steeped in history and you become part of it by staying here. Great service, love having the restaurant on site, beautiful live Irish music, and a view of the lake that can’t be beat. Wish we were staying a week instead of a night!

The Lake Hotel is the loveliest stay I have ever had. It was my second time and it is a must stay whenever I will go to Ireland henceforth. The view was sensational, the room was luxurious, and the food and drinks were superb. Additionally, the staff was so accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful grounds right on the lake with castle ruins on the property. Hotel was very nice just annoying that you have to pay 20 euros each to use the pool

Gorgeous place

The view of the lake was incredible. I strongly recommend one of the rooms facing the lake. If you can get it I was here in the middle of winter and during the Daragh storm and the whole place was just kind of magical because of the to be honest. The grounds are beautiful. I walked all the way round and I just can’t think of another place that is as pretty as this. To be honest, I’d probably give the food a miss if I went back again.

Amazing lake view property

View and property is unbelievably beautiful! Breakfast was delicious. Staff great. I would definitely stay here again. Beds were ok - only area they could improve is better linens and beds. But….the view, service and delicious breakfast make up for that. Clientele while we were there was a little bit older but made for a quiet relaxing stay. Book the lake view room! Pictures are the view from our room.
