The time we spent at the room was good. Bedding is in need of replacement. Breakfast was nice. Beware of theft if you should park in the Ramada parking lot, park near cameras.
The rooms are pretty basic and come with the bare bones amenities. The heater is quite loud when it turns on so I had to turn it off at night. The lounge has decent food and a good view of the town. Their draft beer options are pretty limited though. The covered parking is nice in the winter.
We did have good service and the rooms were clean and comfortable - however one of our rooms did not have any heat and was very cold in middle of the night- in morning on checkout the staff discounted the room by $10 of which I think was not enough. Our reservation was a tad mixed up but that happens and they looked after it right away The vending shop in the lobby for 2 coffees and a water was expensive at $8 when I think the coffee could have been complimentary as with most hotels
Room was nice but dated. The time in our bathroom was cracked and the floor creeped wen we walked the around room. Hotel needs some upgrading.
i am a diamond member at wyndham and stay at this hotel often and my company has a corporate discount but it wasn’t honoured this time because they where to busy .. i wasn’t told this till i got there!! brutal .. and they only have like 8 tv channels. brutal. will be staying at sandman next door when in kelowna from now on .. which is every week
The carpet did no look vacuumed, the ceiling has water damage and stains all over. Plus, the carpet in the room and halls was stained badly. Hair in the bathroom and very dirty in all corners. The back of the bathroom door looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Hence, I was scared to use the hot tub and gym due to the poor cleanliness.
We stayed for just a night here in September during a coach tour through the Rockies. The room was spacious and the (only) lobby staff member was polite. Unfortunately, the hotel location is rather isolated from any leisure or shopping facilities and so rather dull, My party took a taxi and ate at a restaurant about a mile away. Can't really fault the hotel, but it was a rather unmemorable part of our trip...
Poor rating , as my wife and I arrived after a long drive , we were given a room for the night . Looking forward to relaxing ,when we got to the room it was not made up , requiring a trip to the front desk to get another room . After moving our luggage to the new room the first that happened was the plumbing flooded the bathroom requiring another move with all our luggage to a far away corner of the building . By this point we were far from relaxed . And after all that and a reminder from us to transfer a 4 a.m. wake up call so we could catch our flight we received no call . Good thing we set or phone alarms
This hotel is close to everything and easy to get to. The overall appearance of the hotel is good and there has been some upgrades. The issue we had was the room was close to the main entry door and was set to close very loudly. So being the hotel was busy the outside door was being used all night. If you stay do not get a room close the main entry door. The hot in was very nice though.
I have stayed at a few Ramadas and they should remove their name from this hole. The check-in process was good, staff overall were decent...that's where the good ends. Actually...there were not rats or cockroaches so that's a plus as well. The room smelled musty and of old cigarettes at night and then both buildings REEKED of sewage the next morning. Walls are paper thin so do not stay here if you hope to sleep. Doors barely closed, floors warped, stained sheets, mildew in nearly every corner of the bathroom. We wish we could have got a refund but we booked through expedia so were out-of-luck there. We did state a few things upon checkout but were limited as there was a large group checking out and we were in the middle of them. The buffet was nasty... I would stay here again if it cost me about twelve dollars and I Had some serious sleeping pills and my own breakfast.
