This place is very convenient to stay at if visiting NYC, and taking the train in. This is my second time staying here and both times the staff has been very friendly and helpful. The Red Roof Inn has a Dublin, Subway, and Wendy’s located across the street making food purchases convenient. Do not expect the Ritz Carlton, but do expect clean rooms, friendly staff, food options within walking distance, and about a 10 min drive to Secaucus Train Station. Oh and if you are traveling with an RV, they have parking spots for that type of vehicle and they are pet friendly ❤️

Entire room needed an overhaul. Peeling paint, stains on the walls, flickering lights that were strobe like, cobwebs in the windows. Door knob was loose. Bathroom was gross! Hair in and on the tub, cracked and stained tub floor. Woke up to find a cockroach crawling on the wall. Will never stay here again.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. Not the most updated room but definitely convenient if you are going to the MetLife stadium or American dream mall. Also really close to a bus stop if you want to travel into the city.

The room was filthy. So filthy, we didn’t shower. Covered the pillows with shirts so we could sleep easier. Sheets were dirty, comforter was dirty. We slept without covers. Smear of what looked to be feces on the door. Paid for early check in on top of it. If we had a car with us, we would’ve slept in it. Never again.

The staff in Secaucus was really great. I had several flight cancelations after my initial stay, called last minute/middle of the night extremely upset & every shift was very accommodating, pleasant & helpful. I will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in NYC.
