Was windy outside and windows were whistling. Crust in the bathroom. Other than that bed very comfortable, great breakfast.

The place was very clean. Very dated tho. That really wasn’t a problem. The bus to New York was just outside the door. Over all yes, stay there it was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of room to get your food and plenty of seating. 4 waffle irons and 4 toasters!!!! Very fresh scrambled eggs. Definitely we will go there again. Thank you laquinta suites

Professional courteous staff. Very clean and neat property.

Staff was for the most part friendly, especially Donna. Had a little trouble with my bathtub drain, and it was fixed gradually. Their breakfast was extensive, but only had toast and cereal. Very convenient to New Jersey Transit that goes into Manhattan, both inbound and outbound leave directly from the hotel.

I think the property was OK however the location near the highway was very noisy

Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff. HVAC is way to loud.

The location is convenient but rooms need some TLC. OK breakfast but very crowded.

We had been staying at another local hotel but thought we could do better and decided to try La Quinta. We were not disappointed. we chose wisely. Our hotel room had recently been updated except the plumbing fixtures; but they were OK. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and the breakfast buffet was very nice. We found the bus stop to Manhattan right across the street and the #320 bus came about every 15-20 minutes. Tickets were purchased from the driver. We drive an electric vehicle (EV) and would have liked a charging station, but they didn't have one. They did have reserved free parking in the ramp next-door. It was very convenient. We also enjoyed the city-view outside our window.

Everything was great except the fact that our room had a really bad smell. This was because the AC water was looking from the unit in the bedroom and the carpet was soaked with water. That management acknowledged this matter but there wasn't anything done about it.

Quick check in and check out. Great breakfast and convenient to NYC. Free parking. I highly recommend.

It is an affordable place but needs a lot of improvements. Not very clean. Breakfast was ok. Staff just don't care about you. They don't greet you at all. When I first got to the hotel and was trying to check in, I was in a line waiting my turn. When the receptionist became available she was like "your last name".. Not even a hi or welcome to the hotel... I was there for 3 days and didn't get a good morning or hi from any of the staff. If my room was not clean enough I didn't bother going to the pool. You get what you paid for.

Our apartment in Jersey City was not ready yet. So we were lured to this hotel, by the pool. It was the worst pool experience in my 47 years including adulthood and childhood. It was dirty and freezing cold - there was this like greasy film on top. So we got out quickly! It was disgusting. The exercise room on the way to the pool also had this terrible unclean/ fishy smell, so we didn't go there either. Oh! And I forgot to mention that when I booked the room, it said "City view" but our only view was the roof and building next to us. I complained, but they said that was an error on the Orbitz system. Also, there were three of us, but we were supplied with one shampoo, and one soap. No lotion. Also only one coffee. They were really chintzy. My kids got dirt on the bottom of their socks, from walking on the floor. Oh, and the buffet breakfast was crazy! There was soccer teams there for a tournament, and they ran out of everything. They closed hoop early too, at least we were able to get a couple of things, and eat (at a dirty table) but some people were just blown off and ignored, who got there 15-30 minutes or less before end time. Bed was clean and comfy though. Could have had that at Travelodge though. We stayed at Hilton Garden inn in Seacaucus, which was SOOO much better.

Check in starts at 3pm we got there at 4 and they didnt had any rooms available for us to check in. No hot water....no guest computer/printer available for use.. wifi barely worked.

Great place to stay close to the city. Very nice staff. Convenient shuttle, or take the bus right across the street! Will definitely consider staying here again.

We stay here every year when we come to the giants game. Nice suites, great breakfast, and pet friendly!!!! Love our yearly tradition!

The hotel is in a relatively decent part of town, with food and resources within a short drive, however, the whole area seems a bit run down to me. Parking was in a disgusting parking garage around the corner and not too inviting after hours. I personally didn't feel unsafe, but I can see how some people may. The hotel itself was drab and smelly, and the walk to the room felt old and tiring. The place could use a good renovation or scrubbing. The elevator ride seemed risky, with lanolium floors that are bubbling up and a door that is falling apart...but it got me to the 4th floor. The door to my room was sticking so badly, it made a loud noise everytime I had to pry it open. The room was clean and usable, however very dated. Both TV's were not working, with digitized signals fading in and out and volume cutting out completely at times. The AC was VERY LOUD and annoying and I was having to turn up the volume just to hear what I was listening to. The tub would not drain and when I was told someone would come to fix it, it didn't happen. When asked a second time, they finally sent someone up, however by day three, it still wasn't draining properly. I was showering in 6" of water. The speeds on wifi are ridiculously low. Even getting email was IMPOSSIBLE at this hotel. Even with very strong signals, a speed test failed to run. That has NEVER happened to me in a hotel before. I hope they find ways to make improvements or I will not be coming back anytime soon.

Goos staff, this is the second time there. The only that they need to improve is getting WHITE towels , that is getting old

This hotel is worn out. The first room that we were given was falling apart and gross. I asked for another room. The second room was cleaner, the door handles were secure and the ceiling tiles were not moldy, droopy and falling down. It was still extremely worn and dated.

The hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and the hwy. The room was awful the a/c unit was not working when I asked the front desk to either fix it or change my room they stated that they were fully booked. I was asked to sign a whole bunch of forms about no smoking in the room and no destruction of property but the room I got stunk like cigarette smoke like it was coming from the room next door. You could actually see the smoke in the room when you came back in the room
