Booked but not where we stayed

I booked this property for me and my husband and it was confirmed and paid for. While on our drive I received a call from the host saying it was overbooked and they would put us on a different unit. A little confused of how this happened and being put on the spot we agreed. The unit we stayed in was nice but there’s a child or children above that constantly ran up and down. Very loud and annoying until midnight then early in the morning. We didn’t spend much time in the unit but every time we did the constant thumping above was annoying. Then one day we left early to the beach and received a message from the host that the unit was due for exterminator and they would be there in an hour. I messaged back to move to another time or if we could have more notice. Host never responded. Again I messaged host to provide any specific check out instructions and no response from her. I just did what others require at checkout. I then found out I could have refused to move and got a refund but when host called as we were driving over and didn’t offer a refund I didn’t have much of a choice. When I asked why my app didn’t change to the new unit she replied it’s fine I messaged you with the correct information.
