Room was clean...staff was very friendly. I ended up booking a second night due to flight being cancelled and they were very helpful while also allowing me to keep the same room.

This is my second stay here as I visit Jacksonville often. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, there is occasional damage here and there inside, but nothing major. The beds are comfy. And I prefer the “wood” floor over carpeted floors. It’s a large room that provides plenty of space. Surrounding area is a little sketchy, but I never have had problems with my rental cars or my belongings. They have excellent pricing and I will definitely keep staying here.

It looked nice in the picture but when we got there it was creepy looking and when we got our room it smelled like straight up weed and they gave a some bottle of stuff to spray.

Clean looking room, however the linoleum floor was filthy. My feet would be black on the bottom so I had to dedicate a pair of socks to be worn at all times. Also, the shower curtain rod was broken and sagging and I couldn't keep the shower curtain from opening when in use. I had asked not to have service in the room, was woken and bothered by maids asking me to sign that I didn't want service. The point of not getting service was to not be disturbed, not woken up to sign a piece of paper saying I didn't want to be disturbed. The 4th day I was woken early by someone pressure washing my windows, doors, and entry way. This caused flooding at the doorway inside the room. The last night was loud and difficult to sleep due to the patrons next door. I asked if I could get a late check out on the last day as my flight wasn't until 6pm. Was told they didn't do that. I could understand if the motel was full and they needed the room, but it wasn't even close to being full or my room being needed. They simply didn't want to accommodate a late check out. I could've paid an extra night to stay an hour or two, but that's ridiculous. Usually hotels allow an hour or two for late check out, I've never had them straight up say no before. The issues could just be one time flukes. The bed was comfortable and the price was right. They just need to mop the floors!

However an employee was constantly walking around the premises glaring at anyone and everyone that walked or glanced in her direction. Unapproachable. With that being said, front desk employees were nice and aside from bleeding and having anxiety for most of my trip, it was fine -

I'm sorry you were unhappy with your stay. It would help if you would have stopped to speak with the manager regarding your concerns. On a monthly basis we have pest control treat our property as there are so many persons that can accidentally bring in pests.

I'm sorry you were so unhappy. Granted the housekeeping form could have been handled differently, but it is a necessary form, in order to be clear a guest wants no service.

Housekeepers took hours to return towels on one day and on the other didn't show up until late afternoon/early evening. There were nails sticking out of the walls which I ended up scrapping myself on a multitude of times due to placement of nails (placed near bottom of fridge on wall - about 6-8 on each corner).
