My girl and I chose this location because we have a service animal. The room was cheap 51 after tax they put us way in the back because we had an animal. The room was clean nothing fancy the king bed was sagging a bit and neither of us slept real well. The door had an issue we had to open it lifting up on the handle as it stuck trying downward. We went to use the pool which was outdoors and it was closed due to as they said shocking it keep in mind it was 91 degrees! I was outside smoking when two Jacksonville police officers walking down the walk way peaking into peoples rooms officer asked me if I saw any criminal activity going on? We payed for 2 nights got a refund on the second as my girl questioned the safety of the hotel we will not be returning here as the neighborhood is not very desireable!
We have stayed quite a few times this spring and summer. You get what you pay for. No frills but a nice bed and great location for military families. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We plan to stay there every time we come down that way. Only wish they had a continental breakfast.
For the price we couldn't pass it up. Karen at the front desk was great took us all of 5 minutes. We had a room that was pool side with a king bed. Room was clean and smelled good. Older motel but it was fine. Hot water in the shower. Tv was an older box type but it played fine for what we needed. A/C was great!Pool was clean and warm. Grounds were manicured. All in all a great experience. 10 minutes to all the shops and restaurants and 25 to North Topsail island. Definitely would come back.
We spent 3 weeks here .the motel is clean and well maintained. the front desk are very nice and helpful the cleaning staff are very polite .it has a nice large pool its just a nice all round motel to stay at .a 25 min. ride to the beach and 5min to camp Lejeune and the Manager Nehal Patel will do everything she can to make sure you have a pleasant stay I highly recommended this motel 6
The staff were very freindly and curteous, however the tv had bad speakers and there were roaches all around the building. We did not stay long enough to check the pool or to try any other amenities. It was next door to waffle house and other restaurants making dining convenient.
For the price it is what I expected. Older building that no amount of scrubbing is going to make look cleaner. Sheets were clean. Bathroom was satisfactory. Good water pressure and immediate hot water. Toilet backed up on the last 3 flushes before we left, which we reported on checkout. Room was quiet in that we heard no one in any other room, however the parking lot was like a thoroughfare for every loud car and motorcycle. A lot of siren noise early on, but not all night thankfully. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful. Not the best, but certainly not the worst place we've ever stayed.
I stayed at this motel 3 years ago, and had trouble with my room. I gave a bad review and was contacted by this motel and was given a apology and a promise that they were redoing the motel and it would be different the next time I visited. They also said they would refund me one of my 3 days of my visit. They never did. I next stayed at this motel in Nov. 2015 It didn't seem like they did anything to fix up any rooms. I left after one nights stay, and went to another motel. I went to Jacksonville on Monday May 2, I was given a room. It looked just like the same rooms I stayed in on other occasions plus the TV did not work.I complained at the front desk. They said they would fix it while I was out. I was gone for 3 hours. It was not fixed by 4 in the afternoon when I got back. I complained at the front desk again. They said they would send someone right away. Three hours later they came to fix the TV. At 7 PM. The man worked on the TV for 15 minutes.then came to the conclusion that yes the TV was broken. He said I could move to another room. I declined because it was almost 7:30. It would have been a different story if he had come 3 hours earlier like he should have. I didn't want to change my room at 7:30 at night as I had to awake at 2:30 in the morning. Needles to say I will never recommend this motel to any body. djm8534@ aol.com
The hotel was clean, had comfortable beds and was really close to Camp Geiger. The staff was decent and the hotel was slightly outdated but overall great for the price.
This property is located very near Camp Geiger, which was the purpose of our trip. It could use some updates, but it was comfortable enough.
Cheap rooms, certainly pay for what you get. The room amenities are out dated, bathroom is really small and the room smelled like smoke( even though it was a non smoking room). Right near the main road so you hear all the traffic. No wonder-fi either!!! I suggest spending a little more money on another hotel. I wanted to ask for my money back
