Waltonia On The River is a classic Hill Country resort, celebrating over 100 YEARS of family memories on the Guadalupe River! We have 16 cabins on 10 acres and 600' of private riverfront. No crossing the highway to access the river. Our guests say that they love Waltonia because they can unwind from daily life and just enjoy time with family.
Cabin 4 is our newest and most popular cabin (completed June 2023). This cabin has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Primary bedroom with queen bed, attached bathroom, wall mounted TV & closet. 2nd bedroom with TWO sets of bunk beds (4 twins). Vaulted ceiling, wood accent walls, electric fireplace, dishwasher. The fireplace wall is all salvaged shiplap from the original 1930s Cabin 4. Screened in front porch with dining table. Concrete patio with BBQ pit and picnic table.
Enjoy direct access to our large riverfront, with kayaks. The cabins are located along a circular drive, with a recreational area in the middle of that circle. We have a pavilion, playground, washers pit, ping pong & corn hole.
Located one hour from San Antonio, 30 minutes from Fredericksburg, 2 hours from Austin. No parties/events. No pets.
