The hotel is a bit older and the room had a simple, dated look with hard tile floors and no area rugs. That said, the shower was hot, the towels were crisp and clean, and the bed was soft with fresh sheets. It was also very quiet, which made for a good night’s sleep. The taxidermy animals in the lobby were interesting and added character. I didn’t try the restaurant or bar, but it was nice to know those options were available. What really stood out was the staff—super nice, welcoming, and attentive. I’d much rather have warm, friendly service here than stay at a newer hotel with staff who act like they don’t care you’re there.
