The Westin Indianapolis

The staff were friendly and the hotel well-kept. The free Wall Street Journals every day is a very nice touch. Minor issues: the elevator on the seventh floor goes up, regardless if you press the down button and the light above the elevator points "down" when you get on it. Never had that happen before. Also, $45 to park your car overnight is steep for Indianapolis. But the positives well outweigh these items: the rooms are well-kept, the air conditioners are especially good and the location is excellent - blocks from the stadiums in which the baseball and football teams play.

Courteous staff and lovely hotel! Outdoor landscaping was beautiful!

Loved the walkways connecting the convention center and mall. Beautiful city. Staff is stellar - willing to assist with anything.

Great hotel, no issues other than the price to park your car overnight. Thought I was in NYC!

Great staff and service. The staff was focused on customer service and they delivered it very well.

This is a decent hotel. The staff was friendly and responsive. Parking seemed a bit overpriced.

Nothing was horribly wrong, but would expect more than a "basic" room from the Westin brand. Rod

they made you feel comfortable welcomed, The beds were so nice. we used the pool area very nice! We use the parking garage. the point is the cost is I think is a little high. but I'm from a small town. but for a Motel and stay there $45.00 seams high.

The hotel was nice, but I won't be staying there again because of all of the extra unadvertised costs. The parking was advertised to be self park for $20 per night but when I got there it was $40 per night. The breakfast was advertised to cost about $15 per person and but when it was delivered it was about twice that. I was planning on giving a tip, but the tip was already included and with the delivery fee the cost was as much as the meal. A tip isn't really a tip, if it is already figured into the cost. The valet seemed nice and he told me where I could find cheaper parking, but everywhere I went the price was the same. Eventually, I gave up and parked in the $40 per night spot. When I complained they said if I had gotten valet parking, they could have refunded some of my money due to the mistake in advertising.

Had a great time and wonderful stay. We plan on staying here again.

Staff was unfriendly and not knowledgable. Between booking the reservation and sever request during my stay, I was never able to speak with anyone in management. Spend your money elsewhere.

Close to white river park / lawn music venue and easy self parking at entrance of hotel. Starbucks in the lobby and plenty of places to eat

I enjoyed the staffs friendliness they were so accommodating to us. What was also nice was the location-we easily walked to everywhere we needed to be.

What a fantastic stay! We decided to stop in Indianapolis on a road trip back from Atlanta. None of us had ever done anything more than drive through town on the way home to Chicago. I needed a place that had a suite, was kid friendly, and accepted dogs. We've had great experiences with the Westin properties in the past, so I booked the room. We got there, and the place was a madhouse! We had no idea that Indy was hosting the D I, II, and III women's basketball finals. It was fun to see all the excited athletes checking in. Regardless of that chaos, we were checked in quickly and efficiently and got everyone to the room which, for once, was exactly what was advertised. Clean, modern, and new, with all of the touches you'd expect from a Westin. We had a fantastic stay, and did a little exploration of central Indy--go to Giorgio's!--and were out the next morning, but it was a great trip!

Hotel was nice with friendly staff. The room we had we had hard time getting the air adjusted for a good night sleep..

The Westin was a great place to stay while we ventured around town for a few days. It was close to everything. The weather was about chilly so using the connecting sky bridge as a shortcut was warm and handy. the room could have been cleaner (there was a peanut and a wrapper on the ground) but overall we would stay again!

Front desk woman was beautiful polite and Swift. The parking though... I mean are you serious? Very expensive an unorganized. However everything else was awesome. Left my bag in the room and they let me get it back with no hassle.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel nestled in Downtown Indianapolis, close to many amenities. The lobby is grand and the rooms are modern and comfortable. I booked a room with access to the State Room, a club level experience. The room is situated overlooking the hustle and bustle of the city. Lots of lush seating space and quality food and drinks. I also appreciated the added security of having the room key activate the elevators. There is a city-run parking garage right next to the hotel that offers easy access in and out. I would definitely stay here again.

I was disappointed that the room I reserved and pre-paid for was not what I received. I did rectify the situation with hotel management and feel I would return for accommodations.

This is a very nice hotel and is conveniently located. Although the room rate was very fair, I do feel that the parking charges are quite high.
