Bed sacked out from use and room was extremely dirty.
I arrived at the hotel with my two young children after a very long day of driving. The lady at the desk was very pleasant and explained that they were having issues with their phone system (not a problem for us because we weren't planning to use it anyway) and something else that I don't remember offhand. We were "exploring" later and wandered around the building - it's obvious that it's an older facility, but was very clean and comfortable. She also allowed us to go into the Skyview Room so that the boys could watch the planes for a few minutes. Overall it was a great stay for the night.
I booked this hotel for thanksgiving in Indianapolis. Overall, it was a nice hotel, nice staff, and fair price. Only complaints I have is that the wall is really thin, we can hear everything from the rooms next to us.
Hotel needs to be updated and remodeled. Many aspects very worn and in disrepair: bathroom, phone, carpet, and elevator.
Very bad staff it takes like 15 minutes in front disk until the lady check us in they didn't even welcome us, we went down stairs to get breakfast we found only bad coffee and mini muffins for three days on roll , we went out and ask for room service we came back we found the room still dirty, I asked for manager they said no one on duty, I won't rate this place with any stars
Old mismatched furniture, no washcloth in bathroom, mattress was probably 30 years old! Avoid this place like the plague!
Staff and food were very good, room was clean, beds a bit uncomfortable but will definitely stay here again!
Very nice staff, nice sleep number bed. Room was a little dirty for my liking, but overall was a decent experience.
This hotel is on the opposite side of the airport. Long shuttle from the terminal to the hotel. Rooms are not clean and the bed is the worst. The beds were sleep number beds that no longer hold air. One of the bed was completely collapsed and the other was hard as a rock. AC system overflows and drips on the carpet all night. Breakfast buffet was $8 and awful gruel. Worst selection. Front desk staff was very nice but looked like they were just waiting for you to complain. Even the hotel shuttle buses AC was broken. When asking the driver about it, he said all the buses AC was broken. Warm ride to airport in the middle of summer. Do not stay at this hotel
I have stayed at the Radisson before but this was the worst. I couldn't even sleep in the beds because the sheets looked so dirty. In fact I slept in my clothes on top of the bed and showered at a friend's house.
Depending on which side your room is in, you'll hear planes take off or land since the hotel is right next to the airport. I stayed in a room with 2 beds, one bed had light brown stains on the sheets. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. This hotel needs a major upgrade.
Stayed at this hotel two years ago and was quite satisfied but this time we did not have the same out come. Checked in around 10:00 pm for a short night of sleep before our 7 am flight. Got to room 673 and sat on the edge of the bed to change clothes and honestly, the frame of the bed was hard and then you fell into a hole. It was like a sleep number bed with no air. Decided to make the best of it since we were only going to sleep a few hours. Did call the front desk and was told this is the way the beds were. I thought maybe there was a sleep number button I should be looking for. Then, when I got in the shower in the morning, I was shocked again. The shower was hanging straight down. I'm 5' tall and I had to hold it up so I could get my face wet. That was real fun to do while I was trying to use a wash cloth too. The front desk was notified in the evening about the bed and then again in the morning about the shower. I thought Radisson had a great reputation, but I'm afraid this hotel does not deserve their name. Really disappointed. Shuttle drivers for both trip to airport and on the return trip were fantastic.
The hotel is just next to the Indy airport. The district is not as popular as other big city airports regions and we don't find many restaurants around. The hotel room and beds are comfortable and clean with complimentary bottled water provided everyday. The onsite restaurant and bar provide below average food with regards of quality and quantity. But if you are only staying for one night it is tolerable.
Hotel was close to the track and next to the airport for an early morning flight home afterwards. Had to ask for a refrigerator but they brought one to the room and had to go down stairs to use a microwave. Everything was there and still in our budget.
Our room was average, but the rate was high for it. We had repeated maintenance issues in the bathroom. The food was so-so.
Would stay here during off peak rates. It's average clean. Average size. Staff is hit or miss. Some seem friendly and some felt like they would rather not be there.
Fine except for the.... bed! The bed was the worst bed I have slept on. We had a very busy schedule so we just kind of crashed for 3 nights. Had we had more leisure time I would had tried to get it fixed. It was a sleep number but with NO controls! So just a half collapsed air mattress with crevasse pits to roll into. Everything else was fine, the cleaning lady was so nice and left extra shampoo for my long thick hair. Also because of a freebie we had, we had our 3 night stay under in two different reservations. They didn't combine them or plan it as one however, so called us after the first night about checking out. We explained, we were still under a reservation. They then were going to move us because someone else was assigned to the room now, which seemed ridiculous, but I wasn't positive I had reserved the same type of room for the 'second' reservation, so resigned myself to it. However before we got our things together, they called back probably within 5 mins to let us know we could just stay in that room. I imagine they 'moved' the people who hadn't even checked in yet (it was only just after 12pm) which made much more sense. The only other thing I would recommend, is that because the hotel meanders a bit, I would give a map to guests who are not just going up the elevator, but have a trek through it. Loved there was a separate bedroom and refrigerator (we almost always have take out leftovers when traveling), but not many amenities for the size. That bed needs to be fixed or just go away, but everything else was fine and even the reservation difficulty was quickly resolved.
Very nice staff, clean and comfy. We had a amazing time here and really enjoyed the hotel bar
Was overall satisfied with this hotel. The shuttle service to the airport was a little loose at the pick up but finally got the job done.
The king bed was a sleep number bed, and the most comfortable bed in any hotel I have ever stayed in!
