We received a phone call 10 minutes before we were to check in saying that we had been moved to a different Hotel property. At this property, they no longer had queen beds available so we had to Get a roll away. Later that evening, when we called to get blankets and pillows for the roll away, the hotel said they were out of blankets.

We never actually got to stay at this hotel despite booking our room 4 months in advance. At 10pm the night before our arrival, I received an email (NOT a phone call) we'd been bumped to another hotel. When I called the original hotel to confirm we would still receive 2 queen beds as reserved, I was assured we would. Not the case. Turns out they were told by the new hotel only King rooms were available from the get go. We received a King bed- not ideal for 4 people. One slept on a rollaway, while the other squeezed onto a tiny chase they called a sofa. When I called the JW to see if they'd at least be willing to comp $44 ×2 parking fees for the inconvenience, we were told no... and that it basically wasn't their problem for not giving us a comparable room. To compare company experiences: We had a small challenge with Hilton once and not only did they comp the room, the also provided a $250 voucher for a future stay. I continue to stay with Hilton as a result. So much for Hooiser Hospitality at the JW Marriott.

Slightly more expensive than some of the other convention center options but well worth the price difference. Very attentive & helpful staff

When we arrived at the hotel and checked in, we were given our keys and a bellman brought us up to our room. Our keys said 839 but the bellman opened the door and moved us into 829. As the evening progressed we went back to the hotel to drop our purses off before the Big 10 championship game. We looked at our keys and walked into 839 to find a clean room with none of our belongings. It is then that we realized that we were let into the wrong room. After waiting for 25 minutes for security to let us into 829, a man finally came upstairs with a luggage cart informing us that we had to change rooms and move our belongings into 839. We told him that this was not our mistake, but the hotels, and we would not be moving rooms and be inconvenienced anymore at this point. We were then told to go downstairs and speak to the manager. As we were getting into the elevator we hear the security man say into his phone "they are headed down to the lobby and they are rude." Being in the hospitality industry, I know that this is unprofessional and unacceptable to say in front of customers. When we arrive in the lobby, the manager, dressed in jeans, is very rude and not helpful to the situation. We felt that he was dressed unprofessionally and was making it seem like this was our fault and told us that the security guard said we were very rude. Again, not something that should be said to paying customers.

Excellent downtownlocation. Outstanding service.

WE HAD A GREAT STAY- WE WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE SERVICE WAS PERFECT--

We traveled to Indy for a long weekend. The JW Marriott is an ideal location for all the sites in the city. The hotel is beautiful with a very pleasant staff!

JW bumped me because they were oversold. But I had a reservation. "I'm sorry and I understand" statements from front desk don't help. They are neither sorry nor do they understand.

Had a great time, loved the room and the hotel bar

Not sure why it was $300 a night for a standard room. It is a nice place but I've stayed in many nice hotels that were not this pricey.

Nice hotel but typically like to stay closer to downtown. It was a bit of a walk. Had to park far away or pay $45 for valet. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Amenities were great.

OMG! The staff and services were unreal! If you don't need to rent a car don't, everything is within a 4 block radius of the hotel. Parking a $40/day was totally unnecessary! The entire 4 days were just perfect! That fitness center was top notch!

We stayed here due to its proximity to the White River State Park amphitheater. Everything was great about our stay, from check in to check out. We were traveling with a baby so they provided us a pack n play and even brought a refrigerator to our room without us asking. The staff was incredibly hospitable, and we would definitely stay there again!

The deal was not clear, despite the high room rate but nothing included even the most simple which is the internet, can't believe no free internet. No minibar in the room, no cooler??????? No breakfast, $ 22 each person

Capped off a wonderful evening with a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the JW in downtown Indianapolis.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the hotel. Liked the skybridge feature connecting all the hotels with the convention center. We used this feature quite a bit as we were there in mid-November.

It was certainly a nice hotel, but I didn't think it was as nice as it should have been for the room price! Also, there's no breakfast available unless you go to and pay for one of the hotel restaurants. I think this should be available for free at the cost of the room. Finally, wifi also is not included which should ABSOLUTELY be included at this price! What's more, Once I got the wifi, the signal was quite poor, and I was only on the 9th floor. At $15/day for wifi, the signal should be AMAZING! The food at the restaurants was really very good and the staff was very nice and helpful. Overall a nice hotel, just don't think they should charge for some of these extras. (plus they charged for parking...$37/day)

The hotel was very nice. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. I forgot to put my do not disturb sign on the door, which happens to everyone. The 8:30 housekeeping wake up was a little disturbing. You could hear him halfway down the hall knocking on other doors. The thermostat would only go down to 67, which being on the 31st floor, was a little bothersome. It was a very hot day and night.

This wasn't our first time at JW but we will definitely go back from here on out. Our View was amazing and so was the room for the money spent. The pool was kid friendly and I can't say enough about the amenities. But the one thing that meant the most To me was the amazing customer service. From the time we parked to the time we checked out we were their number one priotity. They never made us feel like just another room sold. It was awesome. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone. For couples....familes...business meetings....it was GREAT!
