This place stinks...literally. They were painting half the rooms and the main areas are not well ventilated. Don't be fooled by the facade; this is an OLD building, a turd they are trying to polish. Unsuccessfully. No washcloths provided in the bathroom. Parking is NOT included and you will pay another $20 a day for parking privileges, and it is valet only (you can't just walk and get into your car. The elevator is original to the building, and doesn't even look up to code. Maybe 2.5' deep and maybe 4' wide. Barely enough room for a single slender person and their luggage. Front desk staff all have different information. The night staff accurately told me that I could get a cab to and from the convention center for $5 a trip if I had them make the call. It worked fine. But the next morning, I called the hotel to ask them to call the cab for me and the front desk clerk was condescending and snooty and informed me that they had no such arrangement with any cab company. He was a real d*ck, this guy. Note that this hotel is adjacent to the downtown heliport. Noise! But, more important than this hotel review, why would you go to Indianapolis in the first place? I paid $51 for three hours of parking at 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday night. $51. Indianapolis is a city that thinks it is Manhattan, evidently. I live in a much larger city, and the most you pay for parking in a day is $24. If you go to this city, beware that they will gouge you at every opportunity. Never again.

Great location; noisy due to construction/renovation

I didn’t like anything about this property. I thought I was staying at a motel by the looks of it. Disgusting.

This facility needs to be upgraded. The area is right downtown and the area looks great, however the interior is outdated and not very clean.

The property is very convenient for what we were doing in Downtown Indy. Layout and size of rooms are old/outdated.

Property is in obvious need of remodeling...and it seemed to be somewhat in the process of it. Would have been helpful to know beforehand.

This hotel is just what I could call as "OK". Not the cleanest, had some mechanical issues, tub was stained, carpet had a lot of stains and a "sticky" spot by the sink, elevator is just big enough for two people or one with luggage. The parking is HORRIBLE. I booked the room through Orbitz and did not know that there would be a $30 REQUIRED valet parking fee. The facility is not absolutely terrible, but would recommend other hotels in the area if you have the option. My biggest problem with hotels are hidden fees that are not shown.

The cleanliness of the rooms was lacking. The outlets in the room had no cover. My sheets had a stain on them so I promptly took them to the front desk, where they accused me of making the stain. Then the mini frig in the room wasn't working, so I requested if I could get a room with a working one, or have mine swapped out and they refused to do either. Then, the desk attendant told me my credit card for incidentals was declined when I checked in after he tried twice. I tried a second card and had no problem. Come to find out, the first card did work and I had two charges of $50 on there in addition to the $50 charge on my second card. When I informed the staff, they checked, and sure enough my card had went through with them, but they told me they can't refund it once it has been run through, which I knew wasn't true. The attendant said I needed to call my bank because only my bank could reverse them. Now I'm battling my bank and the hotel to get my triple deposit back. Terrible experience all around.

Not thrilled that parking was valet only. Do not like being forced to do that. Not enough luggage carts, lots of people waiting for one to free up. Elevator is barely big enough for 2 people, let alone with a luggage cart and stroller. Had to plan our trips up and down accordingly.

Hotel staff were grumpy. The bathrub didn't drain. At least, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The worst hotel experience I ever had. 1. The site says free parking, but when I got there, they said I had to pay. 2. The receptionist who checked me in was on her cell phone and when I asked about the parking, she told me she will call me to confirm. She never called. 3. The next day there was no hot water the whole morning. I called and they said that several people were saying the same thing. They said they reset the boiler but that took 30 minutes and nothing changed. This almost made me late and I never got to take my shower in the morning. The hotel staff also did nothing about it. The only reason I am not giving this the worst rating possible is because the staff the next day weren't terrible. They at least refunded my parking eventually....

The room was nice and clean. The toilet ran constantly and the bathroom sinks plug was stuck and I couldn't get it out. So every time I used the sink it kept filling up with more and more water. I mentioned it to the young lady at the counter and she said she would get someone to fix it right away. When I returned later that day, almost 12hrs, I was surprised to see that it wasn't fixed. The next day when I checked out I mentioned agin to the lady at the desk, no apologizes and it didn't seem to bother her.

It served the purpose, but was very basic (at best). The elevator was out of date, the treadmill in the fitness center didn’t work (not to mention the fact that all of the equipment faced a wall PERPENDICULAR to the tv) and breakfast was sub-par.
