Recently stayed at this location while attending my aunt's funeral. The good was the hotel staff. Everyone that I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bad was that most of the electrical outlets did not work and the telephone button for the front desk did not work. On the upside, this hotel is located withing miles of many places to shop and eat.

Loved this venue - I had a week of watching my granddaughters in Indy while my daughter had a lot of sports events, so we stayed here until the big show. SO easy to reach all the Indy museums, etc. from this hotel. The kids and I swam every single day, so that was fun. Breakfast was awesome - tons to eat and the servers happy to make sure everyone was helpful. The rooms were fine - okay - it's not fancy, but it is COMFORTable, and that's what we were looking for! Receptionists were exceptionally friendly and helpful - very impressed by all the staff. My granddaughter was especially impressed by the women who cleaned our room - she told me that they must love their jobs, because they were so nice to us and they did such a good job. And she's only 8! Also, great location - tons of stores and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. So, highly recommend!!! Grateful for a nice stay!

We stay at Comfort Inns on a regular basis traveling to and from our summer home in MN from SC. THIS location is not one of our regular stops however. We were rather taken back when the young man behind the registration desk looked at us as we came through the front door at 6:00pm with a blank stare, not, hello what can I help you with, or any words at all. My wife said our last name and spelled it for him, then gave my first name as the reservation was my name. He responded, may I help you? My wife answered we have a reservation---, he answer do you want to check in? By that time my wife was getting a little upset, so she said no we always bring our luggage in when we stop by just to say hello!!; His response, oh well I don't memorize the names of people who will be check-in!! Now, don't get me wrong, he did finish the check in procedure ok. He did figure out that our stay was covered by reward points because we are frequent customer's. But never have we been greeted in such a manner. Our room was great and the only other insistent was when my wife asked if there might be a list of Restrauant that regularly deliver food here---the answer no! Could he recommend any, ya, Dominos. Any others, just look em up! There are none listed in the room directory as is found in many locations. Sorry, this young man would not represent my establishment without some serious re-training!

I chose this location only because it was very close to the place I was visiting, but I can definitely recommend to anyone staying in this area! Comfort Inns can be all over the spectrum in quality- this is one of the best ones. Clean, comfortable, everything in working order, but the thing that really put it over the top was the service. Doris-who checked us in one day was also there the next morning literally waiting on us hand and foot in the breakfast dining area! She literally was begging us to eat more food and even insisting on it bringing it to our table! I've never seen anything like that. It was close to the end of breakfast serving time and I guess she really didn't want to waste the food and would rather see it eaten. She - and the other staff I encountered- were extremely friendly and helpful. Doris deserves an award. She checked me in the day before and knew I was using points - an extremely low amount of points, at that- so she could have given me the worst room and the bare minimum of service, instead she treated us as well as some high class hotels I've been in. This hotel is also on a busy road with every kind of restaurant and retailer available up and down the road and a straight shot to Interstate 465.

Chose the Comfort Inn because of a rewards program and we were not disappointed. This was a one night stay while passing thru Indianapolis and visiting family in the area. Further off 465 and 70 than we thought but we loved the choice of nearby restaurants and the quality of the area. We had limited interaction with staff but found them to be very helpful.

We have stayed in this Comfort Inn for a few years for the Indy 500. This time we had to change rooms because the A/C was not working properly. We were moved to another room which smelled faintly of smoke, but at least the A/C worked. Usually that alone is a reason for me to never, EVER stay in a particular hotel again. It's a pain to pack your stuff back up and move and I was furious! *Tip to hotels who have guests who use points for stays: give the people using points for stays rooms that have everything in working order. They are your loyal customers. At this point, I've had a few bad stays at Choice Hotels recently and I was about done with the whole brand after being a Diamond Elite Member for a couple years. I can stay at more expensive hotels, but have always liked Choice Hotels. So thank your staff for turning it around for me and keeping me a loyal Choice Hotel customer. They were friendly, helpful, and always had smiles on their faces when we went past the front desk. They even had little IndyCar lollipops made for race fans. The hotel needs a little TLC--it's an older property--but the bed was comfortable and the location was good. Make sure the Heat & A/C is working before you unpack. But the staff makes the hotel. You should give them all a raise!

Upon our arrival, the staff were complaining about the noise from the pool. The squeals of delight were so loud from the pool that we, and the staff felt we needed to speak loudly to be heard. The staff member gave us the key to room 117 and when she told us where it was, I expressed my concern over the noise factor. She said that the pool closed at 9:00 and that was my answer...whether she took no notice or chose not to offer another room I’m not sure, as there were very few cars out front at the time and we felt like not all rooms had been assigned. Or is it, that if you book online and not through the hotel’s website, you are assigned the crap room? The noise in the morning was like having a party in our room! The conversations from the front desk allowed us to take part as we could hear every word. But it wasn’t only the conversions we heard… we also heard the linen cart being moved around and other prep noises. The foot traffic was non-stop and once again, we heard most of the guest’s conversations, but only when they weren’t drowned out by the screams of delight from the pool. We stayed at this hotel to be able to sleep in late and to recoup from an extremely exhausting week. We will definitely not stay here this weekend since are going back to Avon again this Saturday. We will not be staying at the most unaccommodating hotel, we’ve ever stepped foot in. On a positive note, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom “vanity” needed a little attention.

Our family traveled from Florida for a quick weekend trip to visit with family. The staff at Comfort Inn was Awesome, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We had family visiting with us at the hotel and they allowed us to use the breakfast room for everyone to sit around and visit. The location is great, everything nearby.

Great location, every store and retailer are located on the "strip" where the hotel is located. indoor pool, very modern and safe. Book early for a great value. Staff was very attentive and breakfast was hot and plentiful! Free parking to boot!

The hotel was very nice. Great breakfast, lots of variety. Clean rooms and plenty of towels also. Indoor pool, but we didn't use it. Quick checking in also. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Lots of restaurants close also along with plenty of shopping spots. Gas station pretty well next door too. Good location and it is within a hour from the covered bridges in the next county.
