I was reluctant to make this post because I will say that the dayshift staff was very nice and accommodating, but I checked in around 6 PM and the Portley young gentleman behind the counter refused to make eye contact with me and then after 30 seconds of silence mumble the word ID. Other than that, the property is in good shape. It was very clean and I really enjoyed breakfast. If you’re staying in Decatur, Alabama (first of all, I’m sorry) and you don’t mind brief encounters with rude millennials. I would highly recommend this place.
