Good hôtel in Decatur Big modern rooms Small inside pool Decent breakfast (not included) Quite area I would recommend this hotel for a business stay at Decatur Alabama The employees are efficient, and the hotel modern and clean Nothing to complain

Our expectations were exceeded. The room was clean and designed perfectly. Loved the big screen TV and the placement of the desk. Loved the makeup mirror and the couch and ottoman. The bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked this stay on Marriott.com site. On Saturday at check in I asked Lindsey for a room away from the elevators so we wouldn't hear the noise from them or people getting on and off. With a warm smile she gave us a great king room 412 that had a nice balcony. Being a rewards member she gave me a free bottle of water which was a nice touch. Later I asked Lindsey about places to eat and she had a prepared list of local spots in the town center. She was right they were all within walking distance of each other. Loved the Mellow Mushroom pizza. Every question I had Lindsey was on the spot with a great answer what a great impression for the guests. Next time I stay in Decatur I hope Lindsey is the person at check in. The heated pool was nice which was why I booked this hotel. I didn't read the description very carefully because the hot tub (Pleasantly Surprised) was an excellent way to relax (Loved it) before bed. The bed was so comfortable, and the room looked exactly like the one in the pictures on the website!!! I forgot to put out the do not disturb sign on my door (My fault) and about 11:00am a housekeeper knocked on the door but didn't open it. She was very polite and without hesitation said she would come back later. I didn't get her name as I was packing to check out but the courtesy was appreciated without me even asking. In the hallway as I was leaving two housekeepers asked me how my stay was and apologized for the disturbance earlier wondering if there was anything they could do to make up for the issue. I was surprised they mentioned it with me forgetting to put out the do not disturb sign but It made me feel like a valued guest. When I checked out I didn't get the girls name but she smiled and asked how my stay was and if there was anything I needed which was very nice.

Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed the small pool and hot tub. We did the breakfast package, which was delicious and included Starbucks! We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was fine if a little older looking. But the staff was great. Check in was good. I developed a stomach distress problem overnight and just did not feel like breakfast. My husband went to the lobby in search of a sprite and crackers for me. None were to be found. The staff at the bistro area really helped out. Provided me with a cold bottle of sparkling water and the lady ( don't know her name, sorry) made some flatbread for me that was out of this world. This helped my stomach for the 3 hour ride home. Thank you so much. There was a lot of noise in the hallway and family and kids yelling until very late at night.

Stayed overnight on our way home. Booked on line 10 minutes before we arrived. Check in was easy. The hotel and room has recently been updated and looked fresh. The only negative thing is the rooms still have the old fashion ac and not central. It's hard to regulate the temperature in the room. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Ate at the Logan's steakhouse which is right in front of hotel. But the best thing is the staff. First of all early in the morning before restaurant or anything is open, the front desk employee opened Starbucks and made me coffee! We really appreciated that, we wanted to get an early start. Then, after I arrived at another layover, I realized I left my make up bag. Called the hotel, at first no one reported finding it but then called me back about an hour later, it was found!! They sent it to me and arrived today! That's customer service!!! A big thank you to the staff!!!

I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and saw two HUGE cockroaches!!! Would never stay there again. My husband told the desk clerk about it in the morning and she said that they had that problem. She added that they spray the outside of the building.

We visited as a part of a soccer tournament. So, I get the hotel staff being a little frazzled. I'm sure I would be too. And again, the staff was totally helpful whenever we needed something. Just the difference between a good experience and a top of the line experience. The hotel itself was a standard courtyard. The pool is very small. It's a bit larger than the hot tub. Just an FYI. Good workout room for this size hotel. The back of the property has a nice gated courtyard with a fire pit area. Big, comfy community room with business area and a Bistro as per the norm with Courtyards. I definitely recommend the hotel and would give the staff the benefit of the doubt.

My SUV was parked with curb/grass running along the passenger side and my brothers van on the driver's side. Well within the yellow lines and bothering no one. Still, someone found it necessary to key my vehicle (2017 with the temporary tags still on it) causing $1300 worth of damage. The hotel assumes no responsibility claiming it's their policy. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Just know that staying here could end up costing you big. I'll find a safer place elsewhere next time.

We had a king with two pull out sofa beds and had a rollaway delivered for our family of 5. The room was two large rooms and was perfect for our family. Rooms were nice, updated and clean. We did the breakfast package which was great also. Large breakfast meals at the onsite bistro/coffee bar. Eggs bacon toast new potatoes & beverage of choice.
