The Red Door - Charming 1-bdrm cottage in the very popular Washington corridor!

Stay comfortably in Houston at this 1-bedroom guest quarters. Nestled close to all the action along the Washington corridor i.e. restaurants, bars etc. lots of entertainment venues in walking distance. This property offers WiFi, Good AC, & heating for a pleasant stay. The bedroom is cozy and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. This is located towards the back of the property. You may still get some of the noise from Washington Street or the bars close by. This location is close in and offers easy access to most inner loop locations! This guest quarters was just completely redone and put on the market. The floors are a little unlevel, but adds charm and is super cute!

For long term stays maid service is not provided. You will have to take sheets to the laundromat yourself. Additional supplies can be purchased at Walmart nearby.
Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Housekeeping is available on request.

I liked everything about this cottage. It was not only the convenience and location. It was the homey and cozy vibe of the place.Mike and Sarah took good care of us, and that was what we valued the most out of the whole experience.

unfair overcharge

Place was good for the price. The AC in the bedroom was noisy and stopped intermittently. I am the type of person who leaves a place extra clean. I wiped down bathroom sink, kitchen sink and table. I leave and then 2 hours later I get a $25 charge because I left huge "amounts of vomit in the sink." I did not vomit at all much less I would never vomit in the kitchen sink. I reached and let them know that I did not vomit in the sink and it was clean when I left. After some back and forth, the manager said not to worry and that I was a good customer. The $25 charge stayed and I owe an extra $25 for something I never did. Sad and frustrating.
