Check in was a breeze. The staff was polite and helpful and I found the room to be clean and comfortable. They have a shuttle to bring you to and from the airport every 15 minutes I thought that was great!!!
I stayed at this hotel a few years but forgot how much I liked it. The staff is very friendly and even let me check in a few hours early. I had one of the larger corner rooms and I could not believe how much room I had. I could have had a great party and invited 50 of my closest friends My room was also very quiet even though the hotel is so close to the airport. My bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice. The room was also very clean. I will stay here again the next time I am in town.
Everyone that works at the Doubletree Hobby Airport are very friendly and helpful. This kindness starts from the first phone call to the van driver and then to hotel staff. This is a great place to stay.
I am a Diamond member and thee following is everything that went wrong with this 3 day stay: Terrible Stench = Feces on the Desk Chair that got on my clothing (took 2 days to figure it out) I was not greeted as a Diamond member Absolutely no upgrade for my room - stuck in terrible handicap room with twin beds (always have King at DT) Nothing in my reservation was performed (foam pillows and new linens each day) Two days without towels/hand towels/wash rags without going to the front desk Terrible wait staff for breakfast (plain rude) Only comp 1 day of my stay for all of the above and there are even more, but tired of writing at this point! DO NOT STAY AT THIS DT! Thinking of switching my entire team away from Hilton altogether after this experience!!!
This is a nice hotel very near the airport. Even though we could see the planes taking off, the sound was never a problem. I would stay here again. The rooms are very nice, and although the building is obviously older, they have done well to keep the style reasonably up to date.
We stayed here one night on our way to a cruise vacation. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. We got in late and it was nice that they offered room service. The breakfast was just ok and rather expensive for what they offered.
To be fair, I only slept in the room for four hours waiting for my flight early the next morning after the Super Bowl. Better than sleeping at the airport. Getting transportation from the hotel was difficult but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The staff was nice enough but the facility just isn’t that nice. I got the impression that the area around Hobby is not the best of areas in the Houston Metro, and from that perspective, the Doubletree was probably the nicest thing around. So, if one must go through Hobby and needs to stay at a hotel in the area, this one isn’t bad but not a good area in the first place.
We stayed here on October 14 over night before heading out on our vacation. The stay was perfect the staff was great. It was so close to the airport left our car there and took the shuttle to and from the airport. I would definitely recommend and come back and stay there. The room was great.
Everyone including Nora, Loretta and Angela were wonderful I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The restaurant was great and the waiters were very accommodating and the food was delicious. The entire property and grounds were very clean no trash anywhere. The shuttle was on time and the drivers were great. The parking lot was very well lit and felt really safe.
Better than I expected - comfortable and quiet. My early check-in via the Hilton app only offered rooms behind the elevators, and I was concerned that would be noisy. The manager moved me to a quieter room (thanks!!). This hotel gets a lot of airline crew business so it can be sold out some nights.
