Cozy and nice place to stay

Highly recommend the property, we loved our stay there. The apartment is remodeled, clean and cozy, you can tell that host is taking care of his guests. The kitchen is fully occupied and has everything you need. Nice location, easy and quick communication

Nice place in the heart of waikiki

Clean and close to everything you need. The elevators were kind of a pain. Pool area definitely needs some work but we didn’t really use it because the beach is such a short distance away.

Nicely renovated in an excellent location

This was our 5th stay at the Waikiki Banyan. This was by far, the nicest room we have stayed in at this property. It is nicely remodeled and clean. The location is great- walking distance to the beach and food. Parking and the "resort fee" are included in the rental fee. The Waikiki Banyan property can use a little updating itself. The lobby is fine but the hallways could use updated lighting and new paint. We received a noise complaint from the folks in the unit under us which we found very odd. We were not making any noise. I do have a heavy footed 2 year old.. but complaining about a toddler walking around seems petty. I would recommend booking this unit if you are planning on traveling to Oahu and want to stay in Waikiki. Its a nicely renovated place in an excellent location.

A gem in Waikiki

Great condo for a visit to Oahu

We loved our stay here. The condo was clean, check-in was easy. The view from the balcony of the mountains and Diamond Head was amazing. It is located about a block from the ocean, an easy walk with many restaurants, stores, etc. along the way.

Easy stay, beautiful views

Looked for a place with a view that was close enough to all the restaurants and coffee spots in the area! This is the place to be! The vrbo was not only spotless, but it was accommodated with towels, beach towels and extra bedding for the sofa. It had light colored interior furniture, easy to use and find cooking ware, and a bidet! The elevator to get downstairs into the lobby does take 5-10 min to come down and pick you up. And when it is available, it’s full of people, so I would recommend getting into the elevator regardless of the amount of people, and also being ready 30 min before your usual leave time. One thing we struggled with was finding seasonings at a small quantity at the stores. Our stay was 5 days, and we enjoyed using the kitchen at our stay! We’re also thankful for the small bathroom amenities as well!! But if possible, we would recommend adding a few seasonings to the kitchen that take a while to use up, like salt and pepper. Overall, our stay was grateful and beautiful!! Would stay here again!!

Stayed at this rental property for 7 nights. Looks exactly like the picture. Room is clean. Entry door access uses a code which is very convenient when you have multiple persons staying making it easy to go in and out. Very close to beach. Beds are good. Pullout sofa sleeper not so comfortable. Clean towels and sheets. Not enough beach towels. No broom to keep room sand free. I'm a very clean person, so this was a problem for me. The poket door to bathroom was not opening properly and maintenance said it needed to be rebuilt, so we had no closing door to restroom. This would be my only problem with this stay. Otherwise, great place. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location

We loved our stay here. It was close enough to walk to all of the nearby restaurants. Having a parking space available was so convenient. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need to make simple meals. Overall we really enjoyed our trip and we would pick this property again.

The property was clean, comfortable, quiet and the check-in/check-out process was easy. There were several appliances not included. I.E., hair dyer, coffee maker, etc.. but no biggie. The only real recommendation that I have is to make the check-out time 11am VS. 10:30am. Over the years, check out times have gotten earlier. Travelers need to push back on this as it decreases value and it's inconvenient.
