This hotel have the best location! Its located inside the mall. Rooms are impeccable! Great Service! They even went beyond what we expected. We asked them How much If we could have Our gift delivered to the nearby establishment as we did not have time to deliver ourselves. They said they can deliver it for free. Tomy and the rest of the front office did a great job making us feel at home. Will definitely stay here again on Our next visit to HK.
Club lounge has to be the star of this hotel. Superb food from breakfast through to canapés with a nice drink in the evenings. A real sanctuary. Rooms are good size by HK standard, clean, fresh and well decorated. Location is ideal for MtR and of course shopping.
Really enjoyed staying here with my family for 3nights service was really good service they really attend to our needs and checking in was fast and we also got free upgrade to a suite since we want to have a room near each other and also their breakfast is superb in quality love their huge selection of breakfast really delicious! overall and the hotel is surrounded by upscale shops and alot of restaurants so you wont have a problem getting food especially silvercord foodcourt just across the hotel...if we are going back to hongkong definitely we are going to stay at gateway!

When you cab it from the airport be careful not to get this mixed up with Marco Polo Hong Kong. This review is for Marco Polo *GATEWAY*. Entry located right at Harbour City (in front of the traffic lights). Anyway - super awesome modern hotel .. if you love the finer things in life, you'll love this place. Clean, comfortable, spacious with awesome hotel staff from check-in to check-out. Location is fantastic right in Harbour City/Ocean Terminal .. 10mins walk to TST MRT. Easy to get a cab to/from this hotel (about $280 HKG from the airport from memory). Nothing I'd suggest to watch out for or improve about this place. Really a first class hotel ..not cheap - but you get what you pay for. Sorry - I don't know about views etc. Never really worry about that sort of stuff in HKG. If you want a great view it is 2 mins walk to the ferry terminal to get happy snaps of HKG Island by night ..
We finished our trip of China with a 3 night stay here - In the continental club. Wonderful staff, professional, polite and helpful. Our room looked over to Hong kong Island was well appointed & spacious. Being in the contential club we enoyed afternoon tea and evening cocktails, beautiful with a great range on offer and again the staff made us feel very special. Breakfast was just lovely with attentative staff and lovely choices (I think I put weight on!) Was very sad to leave.
Stayed 5 nights in a triple room. This included a queen size bed and an additional bed placed alongside. This affected the space in the room but not to a great degree. Nespresso machine was a nice touch. The bathroom/shower room was very good, plenty of room and a first class shower cubicle. All staff very helpful and very approachable. We forgot our safe combination one night and the duty manager came and opened the safe within ten minutes. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Star Ferry and MTR. Hotel also served by the free shuttle bus from Kowloon station. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.
We have tried Marco Polo Prince before but this time we stayed at Marco Polo Gateway, another property just a few steps away. It is also located within the Harbour City mall complex so it enjoys the same advantages (close to shops and restaurants) and disadvantages (the mall can get very crowded) as the other Marco Polo hotels in the same complex. The rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated in subdued colors. The bathroom is adequate. We stayed in two rooms but only one has a tub. After a day of walking (shopping or hiking) a soak in a hot tub is priceless. We stayed at a Club Floor, and we enjoyed it. Check-in was at the Club Floor itself so we were spared the crowd of guests checking-in at the regular counters. Our flight was delayed so we arrived past lunch and the light snacks available at the Lounge while we were checking-in was a welcome relief. The staff who attended to us were very efficient and we were soon in our rooms. The Lounge offers breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea and cocktails that flows into a heavier dinner fare. We also tried the breakfast buffet at the regular coffee shop and we were surprised at the extensive selection. My wife and son had to do a bit of planning while my daughyers and I went hiking and they had no reason to stop and look for a suitable meal. It was all there, convenient, tasty and part of the room rate already. Our previous experiences at their Prince Hotel were memorable and pleasant. This was the same. And will also be the first of many.
We are here on a vacation with our teenage children. We have stayed here before and the location is really very convenient, near to shopping mall (harbour city, T Galleria, etc) and near the Mtr station tsim sha tsiu. Rooms are big! Staffs very friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay here whenever we come to Hong Kong!
We took the red-eye flight from Sydney and landed in Hong Kong about 5.30am. Arrived at the motel at about 6.30am and asked reception if we could check into our room, expecting the usual 'leave your bags here and come back after lunch' response. But no, we had booked a Continental Club room and were invited to wait in the lounge while they prepared our room. By 'wait' the friendly staff meant a full service restaurant breakfast! By 9.30am we were ushered to our room, the quality of which was top notch. We made sure we were back for the evening cocktail session and soon worked out that was going to be our dinner routine for the stay. We couldn't fault the staff throughout, and the location is so close to top-end shopping, public transport and the harbour.
