Spend the day lounging on the private deck & the evening around the fire pit. Fresh updates inside and out are carefully designed to maximize comfort and ease. Whether you're coming for the beaches, the tulips or simply to get away, The Gem has everything you need for a relaxing Lake Michigan retreat!

The Space:
We know how difficult finding the perfect vacation home can be. But look no further; you have found a gem – THE GEM!

The main level has 3 clean, spacious bedrooms: a king bed in the master, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, and two twins in the 3rd - perfect for kids, or easily slide them together. The desk in the 2nd bedroom (plus 400mbps Wi-Fi) is great for working remotely, if you must.

Keep everyone entertained (foosball, darts, board games, TV) downstairs in the BONUS GAME ROOM, where the couch pulls out into a full-size bed to accommodate additional guests. Smart TVs in the living room and game room allow you to log in to all your favorite streaming apps.

The fully-stocked kitchen is great for cooking family meals, or grill out on the BBQ instead! There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and to gather.

As for location, it's about as good as it gets. Hear the soothing sounds of Lake Michigan as the breeze rustles the leaves of our majestic oak trees. The Gem offers a private retreat that allows you to enjoy the natural surroundings of Western Michigan, while also being just a short drive from all that Holland has to offer (beaches, parks, downtown shops, restaurants etc.)

The Gem sits on a peaceful street in a woodsy residential pocket just off Lakeshore Ave. Walking and bike paths are perfect for exploring the area. Despite the remote feel, we are only a short drive or bike ride to the nearest beach access points, and about 15 minutes to downtown Holland by car.

Great Lakes Trip

We enjoyed our stay in Holland. The house is perfect for a weekend trip to Lake Michigan. Great restaurants, beaches and boating opportunities are minutes from this house. Well appointed and very clean!

Perfect place for a family

Our few of our grown kids stayed at The Gem along with a baby and a couple teens. They were in town for a family function. The place suited everyone’s needs and they had lots of space to relax. They enjoyed the games in the cupboards and the interesting books that were around. It was so close to the lake that four of them went in for a quick swim (Brr) and made new memories. Thanks again! We highly recommend The Gem!

Great location in a beautiful neighborhood and near beaches!

We stayed here so we could spend quality time with our granddaughters and daughter, who live in Grand Rapids. The house was perfect for us, and they had lots of games, basketball’s, and hoop to play with! We all had a fabulous time!!!

Great Trip
