I was disappointed that I couldn't stay for more days due to the full booking situation during that period. But, it was definietely a surprise pleasure for me to receive an e-mail information that my room is upgraded. Even though I stayed for just one day, I experienced a good time.
Overall, experience at Hotel Rieker Stuttgart HBF was adequate. The room was comfortable enough in appointments, with bathroom surprisingly large. However, rooms overall are small - which matters when weather is warm, such as during this visit. Hotel does not provide any air circulation method, including ...
The check-in experience was rather unpleasant, possibly because I arrived 15 minutes early to check-in. The lady would not get out of her chair to receive my passport, making me stretch over the counter to accommodate her laziness. Regardless, the hotel room was clean and comfortable for the price. ...
If all hotels could be as pleasent as the Moevenpick, traveling would be much more enjoyable. I have stayed at the Moevenpick 10+ times over the past 3 years and the hotel never disappoints. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had, but it also comes with a fairly hefty price tag. ...
A place to sleep. Nothing more, Nothing less. The Kebab served in the restaurant on the first floor of the building was quite good.
Everything impeccable. One problem was the heating system. The heater did not work or barely worked. It was turned off itself midnight. The temperature was not controlled at all.
Very nice employees, very helpful. Food in the restaurant was awesome.
Upon check in we had left over food, plates and cutlery from the previous guest. Air conditioner in the room was broken and the room was very hot. Maintenance came and we were told that it would take a number of hours to fix. I had to call front desk to request a new room. We were tired and had spent the whole day travelling. This was not a good first impression. That night a we tried the pizza/pasta restaurant in the hotel. Service was terrible. The server was very inattentive and they were not busy. We did not receive a salad that was ordered, drinks took a long time to arrive, children's food was incorrectly prepared. Dirty tables around us were not cleared (reserved cards were put on them!) and when we wanted to pay our server was missing. We asked another server for the bill. When she returned we tried to get her attention. after about 5 minutes her colleague remembered to tell her that we wanted to pay. It still took some time after that to actually get the bill. Very disappointed with the whole experience.
