Visited May 2017 on business trip. Travel was messed up so arrived at 11 PM. No food available so peanuts for dinner. Checked in to room to find it was really dated - looks like it was last decorated in the 90s? Brown stains in sink and toilet bowl - other travells have posted pictures of this. Wifi worked OK though. Breakfast (17 euro) was not great and the dining room was far too small for the number of guests they had. Also massive queues for coffee machine. A colleague was also styaing in the hotel and he said his room was nice. My guess is they are rennovating the hotel so some rooms are much nicer than others. If I needed to go back to Herrenberg I would probably give one of the other hotels a go - not really tempted by a return visit.
I liked the hotel. We were a group of friends and they try all the way to cheat us, saying you booked for one person more, this that... Deadline is over, all kind of non sense. How such a nice chain of hotels can do all this ? To earn 50 Euro more? Cheap management. Hotel is good, but they spoiled our mood badly!
Great hotel situated in the very quiet area. Nice and clean rooms with very nice stuff. Hotel is right now under reconstruction, but you can not notice at all. I just saw small notice on the desk. Highly recommend it.
This was a Ramada and is now a H+ I got a newly decorated room which was ok. Nothing great, but also nothing to complain about. The sports bar is still a smokers corner to my disliking. Breakfast is ok. All in all nice to stay a few nights on a business trip.
The hotel is old and run down. The furniture in the bar and restaurant is falling apart and torn. The fitness room is actually a closet filled with old equipment. The room we got had a constant sewage odor. The bed was uncomfortable and soundproofing was missing, as the hallway got extremely noisy at any hour of the night, waking us up constantly. The overall experience was the worst I had in years and I most certainly did not return there for my subsequent business trips in the area.
It was a last minute booking while traveling, and based on the name of the hotel, after several kilometThere is something special, an economic solution without risk for travelers of motorway .Be careful if driven by Louxemourg the gps likely will get you out of the motorway well in advance that you would like.
The hotel does not look nice, just a building from the 80's I guess with a bit cheapish style hotel lobby without taste. The rooms have partly been renovated. I stayed in a renovated room which was quite OK. The quality is average, also here a bit cheap renovated. But to fair I enjoyed my stay. Beds are good quality, room spacious, shower perfect. Breakfast was good, wifi and television of good quality. So what do you want more? I am a happy guest and would stay again if I would need te stay here for business. For tourism I would prefer the Hotel Hasen because this is a more typical southern German style hotel closer to the historic centre.
Free parking in front of the hotel. Free Wifi, clean room and super comfortable bed!!! The staff was friendly, we got lucky with a really cheap rate and having stayed at Ramada's before I didn't expect it to be so nice. New flat screen tv and good size room.
the hotel is located in at the edge of a small town, a few minutes drive from the highway, ten minutes walk from city center, not much to do in the evenings there. the hotel has plenty of parking, Jacuzzi, sun beds and a sauna, the hotel restaurant is OK but nothing more. check in and check out took a lot of time but the hotel staff were nice and kind. internet connection was good enough to work with for conference calls.
4 of us stayed here while attending a business conference in Ehningen...I was quite pleased. Even though I didn't get one of the two-story suites (as my travel companions did), I thought the room was very nice. A room with a modern feel, comfortable bed, windows you could actually open, and a large bathroom all made the room appealling. The staff was accommodating when we asked for train information to Stuttgart, giving us maps and brochures.
