If you are making that Pilgrimage to visit the Porsche factory or Museum and of course the Mercedes museum this could be the hotel for you especially if you are driving there. It has highly secure underground parking. The hotel itself is spacious and rooms are very clean. There is a nice bar downstairs and vibrant Stuttgart City centre is about a 15 minute walk away. Driving time to the museums is about 15 minutes unless you are caught in rush hour or some of the roadwork's so allow say half an hour. Breakfast is particularly good here and the dinner menu is not bad either.
Arcotel is in a great location, close to downtown. We did not realize how close it was to the shopping district and train station. The underground parking made for a convenient drive. Reception staff was very helpful and insightful.
Very close to main stations and travel any where The reception staff very helpful to explain anything you want and bar staff. I don't know about breakfast because accommodation is with out breakfast I will go back again because is good location and nice clean hotel
I stay there with my family It is very easy to any where from there because of the location Ideal central location, near the main train station, the MILANEO” shopping paradise and Königstrasse. Very nice and helpful staff at reception and bar The room is very nice and clean up to date + wi Fi I believe they should give breakfast including with the staying I will stay in this hotel again if I will go to Stuttgart for anything
Had a great stay at this hotel. Five minutes walk to the Milaneo shopping mall and the main train station (Haubtbahnhoff). Ten minutes walk and you are in the middle of the city center. The service was good and the room was clean and very comfortable. A nice gesture from the hotel is complimentary water and apples every day. Annabelle Hoglin the lady on reception was extremely helpful with a very pleasant manner. Nice places to visit are Mercedes-Benz Museum, Porsche Museum, Wilhelma zoological-botanical gardens. I also did the Mercedes-Benz factory tour. I loved every minute of this four day break!
Where to start, the location of Arcotel Camino is excellent - ten minutes walk from Stuttgart main station (pass all the new office buildings - hard to find route even on google maps). The hotel is five minutes away from a fantastic shopping centre and underground station as well. Room is very clean and crisp looking, loved the carpet and the bathroom. The restaurant in the hotel offers some of the best dinners from a hotel restaurant I have ever had - the taste and it cost are reasonable. Breakfast is excellent in terms of choice (fresh juices, different teas, 6 different bread rolls and so on), freshness and specials - honey cone, a whole cooked salmon and services provided by staff as well.
You will not be disappointed, we arrived around 12 and got straight in the room, the staff are lovely really friendly and can't help enough. If you go out the hotel and turn right walk around 10 minutes and you will be in Stuttgart, rightly so the train station is right there too. Opposite the station is a parade of shops, there is arrest coffee house (great for mornings) serves pastrys and beverages amongst a selection of sandwiches .. Think it is called the blockhouse coffee shop or its just down from there. We went to the steak house on that strip and that is brilliant, food is amazing and service impeccable .. There is also the tourist information centre, pop in there and you can get your hopper tickets for around 14 euros .. There is a blue route (covers the Mercedes museum) or a green route, we only did the blue route which was lovely very interesting with the history. The Mercedes museum is well worth a visit around 10 euros to get in. We went on the Sunday as the Saturday there was a footie match on and they didn't cover this area something to think about. We also did the Porsche museum which was equally as exceptional, get the train for this , S6 track and costs around 12 euros for a group ticket covering 5 people well worth a visit if you are into cars. So back to the hotel it has a hairdryer, tv, safe (free) and so cute they leave you fresh apples every day. There is a bar downstairs, a mini gym and it also has a sauna and steam room which I think open later in the day around 4 pm we however didn't use the facilities but it's there if you want them. If you go out the hotel and turn left there is an indoor shopping complex across the road, about a 5 min walk, it has lots of shops in here and a food court, McDonald's is there if you want a quick snack. My last point is that you will be doing lots of walking so flat comfortable shoes is a must, there are lots of shops and culture to absorb it caters for all wants so a few days is recommended. Hope this has helped,Stuttgart is a beautiful city to visit. We are going to get the train back to the airport but coming here we jumped in a taxi which cost around 40 euros, if we had of planned better the train is what we would have got to get here, do your research before arriving it could save you lots of pennies to spend elsewhere 😊
very nice hotel, spacious family rooms, good location. staff are helpful. some contraction in near area but it was ok because we ere our most of the time. daily supply of water and fresh apples. Recommended.
Rooms are very nice Hotel is very pretty The front looks like a fortress but inside is very modern Bathrooms very nice Rooms are super clean and comfortable Walking distance to city center Staff friendly and helpful Would stay again 2 thumbs up
I stayed there for a business trip just with requirement to be close to center of Stuttgart. The hotel is nice and the staff was gentle. We had dinner and the food (Zwiebelrostbraten) was excellent. I recommend this hotel for another stay to other travellers.
