I stayed there with my boyfriend at the end of April for 1 night, Hotel is not far from main train station, few minutes walk. Nice clean room, friendly stuff, very good breakfast, we had nice time! You can sit outside at the terrace and enjoy morning sun.
I wanted a hotel close to the train station for a tourist stay. I have previously stayed at other hotels including InnerCity which was ok but I wanted a little more. Easy communication on line with staff to book. Getting there from the main station should normally be an easy walk but at the moment they are doing major railway renovations, and getting their needed some detours including a sparsely used underground tunnel and laneway which might intimidate some at night. It takes about 7-10 minutes to get there from the station. The short of it is an excellent hotel. The hotel is on the Main Street but quiet, and the decor is very tidy. The room was nicely kept and had all we needed including a safe. The TV is tiny but this was largely irrelevant to me. The bathroom was very clean. We had one meal in the restaurant for dinner and this was genuinely an excellent meal, I would have been happy with this outside of the hotel! The internet wifi was good free service. The breakfast buffet was expansive and included for us, best buffet at a European hotel for a while. Overall very happy with this hotel and excellent value. I would certainly use this hotel again for my Stuttgart visits.
The hotel offers everything you need for a nice stay close to central station vicinity. Rooms are clean and breakfast is very nice. The bar however is a little bit small and what I personally don't like is the hotel staff standing in front of the hotel entrance and smoking. Even though being very friendly and polite. Very recommendable hotel.
We had a great long weekend break in Stuttgart in April 2017. Travelling as a family of 3 we had a room plenty big enough. Good free WiFi was great. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and plenty of food. We ate all other meals out as this hotel is so close to the city and we like to explore. This is a great base to walk into the city and then use the trains to visit the Mercedes Museum and the Porsche museum. We used the train to get to and from the airport as well with no problems. Would definitely recommend for a city break both the city and the hotel!
We had a large room under the eaves on the top floor, spacious and very clean. We were staying as a group of friends to visit the motor museums. Downsides, no soft close on the toilet lid... very small continental single duvets. Upsides, complimentary water and apples, bright spacious room. Free wifi throughout. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate one night in the hotel restaurant, very well looked after and the food was of a high quality and swell presented. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Lots of noise on a Saturday in the bar area and through the hotel, what was quiet in the week was the exact opposite on a Saturday night. Very close to the shopping mall. Parking charges excessive we thought for slightly out of town.
The Hotel is nearest the antique stuttgart downtown, and have a good room service, and the restaurant have a different alternatives with local products, also you are close of the metro lines. the main Hotel entrance have a nice stairs.
The very clean and tidy Arcorel is situated only a few minutes' walk from Stuttgart's city centre.Although it is situated on a major road into town, you hear barely any traffic in the beautiful and surprisingly spacious rooms. 2 fresh complimentary apples a day just add to the charm. The bar in the basement is a must-visit as it offers comfortable seating and an excellent selection of whiskies, gins, cocktails and wines. The staff were as friendly and helpful as you can expect in any other bar. The only downside was the cost of the carpark. While it is great that the hotel offers parking in its own underground carpark as well as in the enclosed parking lot next to the front door, €18 per day was a little more than I expected. Overall however, the Camino offers great value for money.
We loved the clean room and the delicious breakfasts. We are from Washington DC, USA and loved the experience of staying in a hotel that looked like a castle. We ate dinner each night at the hotel and had excellent service and the most perfect tasting desserts and meals. Annabell H. gave us excellent customer service and went above and beyond for us.
We stopped here this weekend for a birthday treat. On arrival we asked for an upgrade as a birthday treat which we got. Fab start! We headed to the bar which was most friendly and the cocktails wee not to disappoint. Lovely room, no noise from the road, the only thing I'd please ask for next time is English tea in the room and more milk. Breakfast was lovely, although first day the eggs and bacon were cold. Staff lovely, great location, the Central Library is opposite to the left. A must see from the ground and 8th floor!! We walked to the merc museum and it took 1h 15m. The underground is much quicker but we wanted to see the city.
I sayed in this hotel already two times and i always had a great time. The rooms are nice and quiet, the staff is really friendly and helpfu and the food in the restaurant is really tasty. i also loved the breakfast. Its located pretty much in the citycenter, which is also very convenient.
