The room was clean with plenty of towels. Whatever issues i brought to the staff’s attention was take care of promptly. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. There was ample parking. I saw a fox in the parking lot one night when we returned to the hotel.He ran int the talk grass behind the hotel.

Went for a JMU graduation. The front was nice as well as the lobby, until you checked in. The front desk associate was rude and seemed like didn’t want to be there. The nice thing was that the clerk was wearing gold and purple uniform, however when the customer behind me commented on the clerks attire, the clerk said “yea, I hate JMU, they are making me wear this” In addition, the shower/tub didn’t have warm water, it was either cold or hot but once you tried to make the water warm, it would default to hot water If your ever find yourself needing a hotel and the others are sold out, sleep in your car

The room was very very old and not in good repair. Furniture had gauges out of it and fabric headboards were stained and old looking. Bedskirts were pulled and falling apart. Bed linens were clean but old and threadbare. For almost $200 a night I expect MUCH better!!!! I did not see any bed bugs or insects but given the state of this property it would not surprise me at all!
