We had a great stay! The hotel is right in the center of Halifax, which made it easy to get around and explore the city. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location couldn’t have been better. Overall, an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The Lord Nelson is a hotel full of history and beautiful accommodation. We found that due to its proximity the the Citadel, it was very walkable and easy to get around in. The staff answered all of our questions and had very good recommendations for food and sightseeing. Definitley a place would recommend for a short or long stay.

Such a pleasure to stay at a hotel with top quality staff, furnishings, and room amenities. Although located in an active part of the city, inside the hotel and especially the rooms it is fairly quiet. Parking access is convenient. The public gardens across the street are a lovely spot to soak up floral beauty and wander.
