Key card issues happen, few trips up and down. Sorted Stained chair - corner. Cushion is very dirty. Trap under bathroom sink/ plumbing is or was leaking thus damaging the wood. This is or will be mold and should be addressed before it gets worse. Mold very much stresses my wife out due to health reasons. Pool was chilly but was still enjoyed. Small things that would have otherwise been a perfect stay. Employees were all smiles and this alone goes a long way. We will return im sure. Thank you folks

We booked one night as a family staycation over Christmas and our daughter has always wanted to try the “hotel with the big slide that you can see from the highway”. The staff were friendly, check in was simple and the slide was a blast, but the pool was quite cold. We went to the pool in the evening and were warned by another guest that there were no pool towels and we had to use our room towels. On my way up to the room, I checked with the front desk and he confirmed there were no towels and if we used our room ones, we couldn’t get fresh ones until the next day. There were 2 elevators but only one working one. Breakfast would have been mediocre if the food would have been replenished in the trays, or when it was some things were I realize there was a hockey tournament so lots of people in the hotel, however that would not have been a surprise to management so they could have been more prepared for the amount of people booked in.

Always have good experience with Holiday Inn Express, but first time at Bedford location. First of all, location is excellent. Around the area has plenty of gas stations options, close to Tim's and pizza place, very close to the highway, within short distance drive will get you to Bayer's Lake with all the shops and restaurants. Hotel has very nice rooms. The down side, a couple of staff members were rude. First, at the front desk. Didn't get a welcoming greeting while checking in. Wasn't too friendly neither. And then during breakfast was a bit surprising, because the food area is in a very cramped room. Most hotel would have an open area. Not only would make it hard when there are a lot of people, but also hard for staff to refill food and supplies. That's also where I encountered another staff who was being rude. While she was bringing out the food, I kept hearing an unfriendly tone saying "Excuse me! This is hot!" I understand it is hard to bring the food in while it's crowded and it can be difficult. Also, it is not the people's fault since the breakfast room is extremely small. Would still give Holiday Inn Express another try, just surprised that this time wasn't a smooth stay.

Clean room, staff was pleasant and helpful. My only complaint would be that there seemed to be a lack of towels. Between the room and the pool I felt like we were looking for towels. Also the breakfast could use bacon and hash browns.
