Close to grocery, liquor stores, bus. Well equipped, beds were comfy. Some cool little restaurants on the way walking to waterfront. Felt a little sketchy back where parking was and our building had been tagged. Mold in the very tiny bathroom, and accessibility a problem with many stairs and narrow to climb. Having said this, three bedroom units are hard to find central, so was mostly ok for a short stay.

First of all, I really appreciated the responsive of Mike, the host. His detailed description, complete with photos, was helpful in finding it. The apartment has everything you need …and we appreciated the additional treats and condiments. However, as it is right across from a grocery store and liquor store, anything you need is at hand. It is easy walking distance to downtown and also easy to blast out of the city to visit other great locales like Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks, Mike!

Grad gift for our son

We were visiting Halifax with our 2 adult children as a graduation gift for our son. This accommodation was very well appointed with many thoughtful amenities. The location was very good and we were able to walk everywhere. The apartment itself was super spacious and nicely decorated. The host was so accommodating and quick to respond to our inquiries. We had a car which made getting into town easier, would be a bit of a walk by the end of a day sightseeing in town/harbor. We liked the evening we went to north end local restaurants and pubs. Nice to be with locals, although downtown wasn’t too crowded with tourists on our visit.

Short hfx stay

Everything was great about the place, very reasonable price for the space and amenities. The only thing that stood out on the down side was that it had a fair amount of street noise at times. So if you are a light sleeper might want to consider ear plugs. That being said I would absolutely come back and would recommend this place to other people

Residential area with all the amenities

The unit was large and very welcoming. Don’t let the outside mislead you. It’s on top of a commercial building but once inside you will be glad you chose this place. There is an adjustment to make the traffic and ambulance noises. Grocery, pharmacy are across the street with local restaurants and an awesome coffee shop nearby. Downtown Halifax is a pleasant 20 minute walk.

This place is in a great location to stay near the buzz of downtown Halifax but yet far enough away from the noise. Place was very welcoming and clean. Booking was easy to do and communication with the host was very responsive and prompt. My only wish would be more water pressure for the shower. Recommend this place for a great stay in Halifax.
