Staff trainee lady was rude. She did not explain service procedures and was very un-accommodating and unprofessional. If we did not arrive so late in the evening I would have changed hotels due to her behaviour. The room was nice, the parking was inconvenient. The credit card refund is 5 business days which is crazy because they took the money right away when checking in.

I booked 2rooms back in July. Our Room was not ready for 1 1/2 hours late (4:30 and I had to recall front desk to ask) after my friend paid for her room they told us there would be no water in the building from 9:30 to 6am. Not acceptable and no compensation for it. Went to check out this morning and found out they gave my friend a 10% discount !!!!! I received nothing and I had to wait to even get in my room. This is not right I had to wait to check-in to a room and no water all night and no come station at all for it !!!!! I should have asked this morning when leaving but only found out after the fact and there was a line up and we had a 4 hour drive to get home so left. Very disappointed for our first stay here.

Lobby area is modern but rooms and common areas need refreshing, including upgraded thermostat and bathroom ventilation in rooms. The bathroom (shower tile grout) in my room was not clean; the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Indoor pool and fitness area was good. If driving, at check-in (and out), use the loading zone at reception before parking (building across the street). For able-bodied guests, once streetside, you can use the crosswalk. Mobility-challenged guests must navigate to the appropriate level in an office lobby food court, find the skybridge, then take a long walk, escalator, and another long walk to reception. The hotel is at the north end of the beautiful waterfront district. Easily walkable to the waterfront, but complex (and long) to navigate using the skybridge.

The hotel overall is excellent with spacious rooms that are well insulated from outside noise; there is a fully equipped (albeit small) gym and a pool; there is a restaurant on site and a 'grab and go' part to it. My partner became very ill after eating an overnight oats from the grab and go, however. We informed the hotel so that others wouldn't suffer the same fate, but we do not know if action was taken.
