Staff were very helpful, the property and room were great value for its price and the area felt safe and in a good location. There's also free parking and staff let us store our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The property itself was great - clean, modern, safe and within walking distance of most of downtown. The only issue were the beds; the mattresses were insanely uncomfortable and the bedding really thin, which made for some really cold nights. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Very nice option instead of a very pricey hotel. My sister and I spent a few days in Halifax and we each had our own room (typical dorm room) and a connecting bathroom. Very basic of course but great for just having a place to sleep. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms also. Didn’t check out any common areas or kitchen or pool. We would do this again.

My only issue with this accommodation is expedia listing multiple addresses rather than just the one required. A 50 minute walk in the rain rather than what should have been 10 minutes is slightly frustrating. The staff from dal were A . Expedia, not so much.

Very basic accomodation. Shared washrooms could have been a bit less stark. Also laundry facilities should have clearer labeling and instruction. Maybe the students get an orientation but the guests have to guess how to operate the machines and figure out which are the washers and which are the dryers. Also doors on public rooms (kitchen, lounge) didn't always open and there was no notice about when those rooms were available for use.
