Theds were incredible uncomfortable and the sink and shower wouldnt drain. They came and fixed it but the barely worked. On our second night we returned to the hotel at 12am only to find no parking. We went to the front desk only to be told that the hotel was sold out so there may not be parking that I paid $28+ for. The desk agent informed me i could park in the fire lane in front of the hotel. I explained that it is illegal to park there. He then advised I could block in another car in the parking lot and they'd call.me.to move if needed. I advised him that was unacceptable. So after all that we had to find street parking on a friday night dowtown Halifax.. nearly impossible, it took us nearly and hour and we had to walk for blocks to the hotel. Completely unacceptable

The toilet was far too low. No grab bars anywhere. Shower need a handheld shower head as well as what is currently there. No night table on the right side of the bed. Lobby entrance doors are not automatic so you have to try and hold the door open and get your luggage and wheeled walker in. It needs a wheelchair button for each of the entry doors. The breakfast was cold.

We have stayed here on many occasions. The suites are so convenient, parking is easy and staff are friendly. It has been a while since our last stay and we were saddened to see it in such rough condition. Our room wasn’t cleaned well with sticky rings on the desk and the carpet was sticky to the point we didn't take our shoes off. The hallway by the elevators the wallpaper is shrugging off the walls where the walls have sunk. It is dire time for a renovation at this property.
