We were glad to be there for the manager's reception - maybe because it was Valentine's Day? The breakfast was phenomenal with very attentive staff keeping everything neat and fresh. We prefer using stairs rather than the elevator and appreciated that the stairwells were wide, clean and well-lit.

We had a great time at our hotel. We had Walmart and a shopping plaza near the hotel. We also had places to eat near us, as well. The only problem I had was the fifteen dollar charge that I had to put on my card until we checked out. Overall, we had a great stay.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon I went to the Viking cooking class that night and enjoyed the extended check out time of 12 noon for the weekend

The p.m. front desk clerk was brusque at best, rude at worst, on a daily basis. The weekday breakfast room attendant was an unfriendly young woman with a sour attitude who spent most of her time in the pantry while food ran out during the last half hour of breakfast service. Another employee spoke to her and she did make a correction in terms of food supply, but she remained unfriendly, sour and in the pantry. Housekeeping was well below par. The toilet and the tub weren't clean when I arrived and improved very little during the stay. The laundry room wasn't especially clean either. I'm sure someone will answer this with, If you had told us... But that really isn't the point, is it? There were some employees who were professional and helpful. I don't know their names since no one was wearing a name tag. The weekend breakfast room attendant introduced herself. Her name was Mary and she was personable, kept the room clean, and the food well supplied. There was a young woman with long curly hair who was knowledgeable about computers. She was very helpful and friendly. The a.m. weekday front desk clerk was also helpful and friendly. She's the one who got the sour breakfast room attendant out of the pantry to put more food out.

We have stayed here serve times. The experience has always been good. Would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is conveniently located. Staff was courteous and quick to respond to our needs. Breakfast was not that great though.

Excellent hotel would stay again, friendly staff, good location. Clean hotel

Hotel made a mistake and gave my room away. Although they could not completely correct that problem, they did go the extra mile and offer more than fair alternatives. Even though I did not hold them to their offer they were quite professional in their response and I will stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was nice. However, we booked our King room online and when we arrived at our hotel, we were notified that there were no king rooms available. We were told we would receive a discount to accommodate us for the mistake, but when we checked out the next day there had been no discount applied to our bill. We were short on time and could not wait for multiple phone calls to ask a manager, etc. So we left a little disappointed that they did not follow through on their customer service promise. Our double room was nice and clean and overall the hotel itself was great.

We were there for a wedding. My guess is if you are in Greenwood, MS, it's b/c you have to. If that's the case, this hotel is acceptable
