Nasty Nasty Nasty very nasty room smelled like urine

You're bathroom is partly in the sleeping area and your "kitchen" is also the clothes closet. Other than those odd things it's your run of the kill budget motel. Great location for having fun in the downtown area and stumbling back to the motel after. Staff is super firneldy and helpful.

When I arrived for check in, the hotel charged me $9.50 for a "hotel fee". So much for a discounted rate for using Orbitz!! The parking lot is soooo small. I don't think there is even enough spaces for one car per room. The room itself was about what I had expected. Slightly better than Motel6(which is one step up from camping). In the morning I went to take a shower but the water was just trickling out of the shower head. The water in the sink was fine. After looking at the shower head well... it looked old and was most likely not taken care of and clogged up. I had to leave so on my way out, I informed the front desk. The lady assured me "Oh no, we have great water pressure" I didn't really know what else to say, so I just left. Overall, it was disappointing to pay an additional fee and then compounded by something pretty simple yet major like running water!!

After driving I-40 & Old Route 66 for two days, this was a perfect place to stop. With plenty of places for dinner and drinks within walking distance. Checked in late with a last minute booking and were pleased to find great shopping nearby when we woke up. This is a 'mom and pop' franchise where the staff really puts their heart and soul into their work.

Through a third part site and points to be able to be used for payment, I only paid $40. With that in mind, I really only needed a place to crash after a show near the hotel. However, if I had paid $80-$100 for this room like others I went with had, I would have been very upset. The windows didn't have locks and the clamps they had to keep the window from sliding open, were only on the bottom and I was still able to open the window with some force. The shower barely had any pressure and the hot water was severely lacking. They only had one bar of soap for both the sink and shower and no shampoos or lotions. The room had a funky smell in it too. The parking lot is really small and limited. Other hotels in the area that are significantly nicer and better equipped for not much more money.

The room was extremely tiny. They had no room to move around. Very tiny room. Was not worth the money. Will choose a different place to stay next time we visit Flagstaff!

There was a strange smell upon entering the room. The shower had two settings, scalding hot or freezing cold.

Unmotivated staff. Place has seen better days. Unprotected (no gfci) outlets right by the shower. Felt I had been had.

Visited the Grand Canyon and stayed in Flagstaff at the Rodeway Inn. Nothing fancy, but it was just what we were looking for in terms of price and comfort. Our room was clean. The carpet wasn't the cleanest though and probably needs to be replaced (just like most cheap hotels). However, we ended up staying 3 nights! Location is great!

good for one night. Good location. Within walking distance of downtown.

I've stayed here a few times when heading to Flagstaff for softball tournaments. It's a terrible hotel with regards to amenities, but is right downtown and walking distance to all the restaurants and bars the area has to offer. The rooms are tiny, ancient (though on this trip I noticed they did upgrade their old box TVs for flat screens sometime in the last year), bathrooms are small, terribly outdated, and barely functional. There are no amenities; unless you consider the pungent smell of curry that always slaps you in the face the minute you open the door to the lobby/front desk area an amenity. The owner/operator living quarters are surely directly behind the front desk. I would never take my wife and/or kids here, but it does the job just fine if you simply want a place to shower and sleep for a few hours after a night on the town. Which is the crowd they must cater to as rates are jacked way up on weekends, and down around the level you would expect for a poor quality hotel during the week.

We have stayed twice before for location and not minded the small quarters and lack of amenities. We usually get the same room upstairs by chance. We have always managed the tight quarters with plenty of table space/ledges to put things and store. This time the room smelled like stale peanuts and had no place to put hardly anything. The bathroom was the worst. No hooks, ledges, shelves or counter space for anything. .. Not even towels or shower toiletries. The bed was so uncomfortable both my husband and I were stiff and sore each morning. They do have a mini fridge and microwave with a flat screen tv which was the only plus.

ordinary room. it was clean, inexpensive and we could walk to the breweries -which is what we were looking for.

i stay in way better hotels for the same money the beds were not confortable and the rooms were 2 small

I would not stay here if the location wasn't so convenient.

Short trip, great location, near downtown, no need to drive anywhere!

This is a great hotel for a 1 night stay. It's a little small so I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time there. The location is perfect. You can walk downtown and to several restaurants and bars.

This room served it's purpose. It was spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly. The only problem was the outlet next to the heater did not work therefore we had to stretch the cord accross the room in order to have heat. It almost tripped a few people coming in and out.

Hotel was ok Great location, Amtrak Station 1-block away. Historic Flagstaff AZ. Downtown area within walking distance. Near places to shop and eat. Over all rooms were small, but clean. A train runs by across the street about every Hour, But did not bother me.

The hotel was clean and close to everything we wanted to see in Flag. But the train passed every hour on the hour at all times of the day and night. It blew its whistel everytime it passed. Making your stay an unsleep center. If you don't mind the train this is a great place to stay. But if you want a sound and quite rest for the night, this is not the place.
