Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel

This was one of the hotels reserved as part of a convention I attended. It had a reasonable price compared to the other hotel choices. The stay was pleasant. Also, it is right next to the bus terminal and convenient to the down town.

Everything was fine except don't expect to use the fitness facility or pool unless you are Business Class or higher. Unless of course you don't mind paying extra. When I stay at a hotel/motel I expect to have all services available and not be second class like on an airline. Also when you go to breakfast be sure to have all of your group per room go together. They will check of your room when entering and when your other party members arrive be denied. In other words 4 people traveling need to be seated together. If they check you off they think you are returning for seconds or thirds when actually it is your other party members. .A better system would be to record how many guests arrive per room.

This hotel is located close to the city only 10 minuttes to walk to the Aveny. The breakfast was nice. It is a bit old hotel and you can tell on the rooms and the lobby but to a reasonable price it can be recomended. The tram to the amusement park "Liseberg" leaves trom the central station just 2 minutes to walk from the hotel, takes 11 minutes and costs 20 SEK (payable on bord). The Casino is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and so is the harbor. Enjoy!

I have stayed four or five times at this hotel over the years. It is directly across from the train station. The staff is used to dealing with all nationalities; they are calm and prompt. The room was quiet: nothing penetrated from next door (or above) and the street noise is largely muffled Gothenburg is a quiet city by night. I spent 6 nights there: room maintenance was excellent; special request met quickly. I had one meal in the bar (perfectly fine and a reasonable price); on this occasion I did not have the hotel's breakfast (I wasn't on an expense account and was grateful for the cut in price) but it has been fine in the past. Buses and trams leave for all parts of the city from in front of the hotel. The area is not rich in restaurants––the best are a little walk away. But I would go there again happily. It has really served me well.

Very nice hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The location makes getting around the city quite easy and is close enough to walk to great shopping and restaurants. Would certainly stay here again.

We spent two nights at the Radisson Blu in Goteborg recently and was very pleased with our stay. The free breakfast buffet was particularly notable and the room was on the large side for Scandanavia (usually other hotels don't seem to fit much more than a bed and tiny desk based on our experience). The hotel is conveniently located by the central train station and downtown Goteborg, so it was easy to get to and there were plenty of things to do and see nearby. Only downside was that the room did not come with free access to the pool, which we had been looking forward to. Overall, a very good experience all around, and a decent value for the location and amenities. Would stay here again in the future.

This hotel is very well located. Walking distance to everything. A number of great restaurants down the street. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff is extremely nice. There is the train stop outside which was kinda noisy, but your int he heart of the city, and I dont mind local sounds. I also have 2 windows wide open for the nice breeze. Free Wifi in the room was on and off. but better than nothing. Great Hotel.

I had gone to Sweden to take advantage of an overseas purchase opportunity of a Swedish car maker. I drove around western Sweden but did not want a car in Stockholm, so I took the train from Goteborg to Stockholm. The hotel is right across the street from the central station which made arrival easy. Plus, I flew out of Sweden from Stockholm and the best way to get to the airport is via the Arlanda express train which leaves from the same station. The hotel is not in the midst of restaurants but they are within walking distance as are tourist activities. The hotel itself was just fine regarding service, rooms, etc.

Clean rooms, quiet, great location. Breakfast buffet is sooooo goooooood! Friendly staff.

This hotel is beautiful inside. The view from the interior upper floors and elevators was incredible, with pools of water winding around the atrium. The room was good size, clean and comfortable. The view onto the square was nice. Breakfast was really good - so much to chose from. Only problem was the pool - it was freezing cold, too cold to use. Complained at the fitness center but they said it wasn't their problem.

Perfect location for a a touristic walk through the city.
