OK standard at fantasy prices. More value for money at better locations in Gothenbourgh could easily be found. The hotel has a good location for Liseberg and public communication, but apart from this, no particular reason to choose this hotel.
View, spa breakfast 👍👍👍 the staff is helpful and room is clean with nice view. U have everything inside the hotel and the opening hours is until late. I will defenlity come back. Just little big peice for spa but it was worth it. And plz little warmer room.
Fantastic hotel and better client orientation of the staff. Sometimes a lot of people due the concentration of events. Impossible to switch on the TV at the room, missing instructions. Good for business events.
I spent almost 2 weekend staying at this famous hotel for visitor. It was very crowded almost everyday. Exhibition hall, Scandinavium, not to mention there is a connection bridge to the theme park..Lisberg.. cross the street also you can visit Universeum. So it really..really at the center of happening area in Gothenburg. Near by the bus and tram shelter. Easy way to take to Airport by bus. Walking distance to the avenue road. The breakfast was excellent. Once they served a familiar food for me..Nasi Goreng :)
Average hotel, no frills, no romance. Parking sold out, then parking in street option (or in our case another garage). Breakfast standard, the scrambled eggs not good. Friendly staff, even in the face of crowds full of cranky children. Absolutely prime location if one wants to visit Liseberg or Universeum.
NO room in the restaurants for strollers. Otherwise Clean roms, Good breakfast. Tried to enter Evert restaurant with our infant but er were told to leave the stroller or use roomservice (with a roomservice fee)
Gothia towers is one of Gothenburgs most iconic hotels. And lives up the the standard. A lively reception with an indoor street with restaurants and bars gives an urban feeling without going outside. Right in the middle of the entertainment centra - Gothia towers is the perfect stay for families.
Staying at Gothia Towers with two kids are convenient. There are thousands of others who think so as well and the hotel and its restaurants are crowded. They do good job managing all the guests and service are high. But if your looking for a cosy stay this is not the place. Our first room smelled of fish but we got a new one after a couple of hours.
Really good service when arriving. Clean room. Best view. (Have to be asked for if you want the view of Liseberg, see my pictures) Best breakfast. The hotel have three towers next to Gothenburgs amusementpark Liseberg, the biggest in Sweden. Various levels of rooms, higher up more expensive, and a really delux level, as well as a pool area hanging out from the middle tower. Really good breakfastarea as well.
It was easy to park since we prebooked and didn't need to go get a ticket first. The staff was welcoming. The room was clean, confortable and quiet with a great view (26th floor). Best location in town and great breakfast, we keep going back here!
